The 5 Best Nightlife in Yeoksam-dong, South Korea

April 8, 2022 Sheron Bogner

Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

The Real Seoul

The Real Seoul offers custom, private, food and nightlife experiences for solo visitors and small groups (friends/couples). Maximum guest count is 6 people! This keeps the atmosphere small and flexible (easy to move around to restaurants as we wish). We can eat as little as you want, drink as much as you want, it's totally up to you! The Real Seoul is a local friend, not a big tour machine. Please drink responsibly. Visit the website for full details!

Woodstock Itaewon Bar

Having traded the hippie vibe for a racier Thrash Metal image, Woodstock dazzles with its friendly service and 'out there' quality. It was a lot of fun to have been there of an evening recently and i had a truly great time.

The Sool Gallery

Reviewed By lisaamcgill - San Francisco, United States

Super fun! I signed up a day in advance, so we were able to join the 30 minute history lesson in English and sample 5 liquors (soju, yakju, makgeolli). We also purchased many bottles to bring home for friends and family. It was helpful to taste the bottles in advance and ask for recommendations. Would definitely recommend! Really easy to find - 10min walk from the Gangnam Station.
