Arundel (/ˈærəndəl/ or locally /ˈɑːndəl/) is a market town and civil parish in a steep vale of the South Downs, West Sussex, England. It lies 49 miles (79 km) SSW of London, 18 miles (29 km) WNW of the English Channel city of Brighton, and 10 miles (16 km) east of the county city of Chichester. Larger nearby towns include Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

Just had the most amazing experience doing the hawk walk with my mum for Mother’s Day! Mum said it was the most breath taking experience she’s ever had! Being up close and personal with the birds is incredible! Would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a gift that’s out of the box! Looking forward to the next one! ????

From the moment we walked up the drive and saw the beautiful and striking Arundel castle home to the Duke of Norfolk it was simply just breathtaking, and inside was stunning, the library took my breath away. The most amazing castle I have ever visited. The gardens are beautiful with so many beautiful features, with the beautiful Arundel Cathedral as a back drop. Would most definitely return and highly recommend a visit

WWT Arundel Wetland Centre

Set in the splendor of the South Downs; adjacent to the River Arun; overlooked by the historic Arundel Castle skyline this gorgeous wetland reserve is a great place for a great day out in West Sussex for the whole family. Arundel Wetland Centre is home to a collection of over 50 species of wildfowl from around the world in natural settings, on display 364 days a year so there is always something to see. This gorgeous nature reserve has boat rides and an amazing reedbed boardwalk. The 8 wildlife hides bring you close to Sussex wildlife plus there is a family oriented Discovery Hide which hosts events in wet weather. Added to this are two adventure playgrounds, the Water’s Edge Cafe serving takeaway drinks, snack & ice creams and a gift shop with unique take-home treats. Arundel Wetland Centre is fully accessible with buggy and wheelchair friendly pathways, comfortable hides and disabled and parent & baby facilities.

Revisit again and again with the array of beautiful wild bird life from around the world, play areas and educational retreat spaces for the Hardy enthusiastic watchers. Warm welcomings feeding areas, lovely little gift shop and boat tours it has everything for a family to enjoy including the admission. We will continue to come back.

Lovely lake about 20mins walk from arundel centre. Boat hire, cafe, ice cream and really good walks.
