I had found La Desirade at the Pointe des chateaux. At the top of the Pointe, they indicated on a map that that the islands were La Desirade. Many among us did the same. One said: "It is so cool!" Worthwhile to see!

We stayed two nights on the Island, It is lovely! - be prepared to walk or hire bikes or scooters (But these are too noisy!) - take your time to visit Fort Napoleon - really interesting but leave to get there early as it gets so hot! Don't bother with Pain du Sucre Beach, instead head for Les Pompiers - it has palms, picnic benches and the most beautiful bay! Even Swimming on the beach at Anse du Fonde is lovely, followed up by breakfast at one of the Boulangeries - Wonderful Experience

A reel paradise that you will have to share with other tourists also came by boats,the only way to get to this island. An amazing wild life,you walk among iguanas and you swimm with sharks,turtles and many other fishes: INCREDIBLE and so many memorables moments... you spend the day,you eat under the palm trees and you enjoy paradise.
