In the Park of the Po, to 3 kms from Saluzzo (CN), the " B & B Maria Sole " offers to the guests a complete immersion in the green and peace. The independent villa and completely surrounded, a park of pines, oaks, elms and a lot of types of vegetation is surrounded among which the Monviso's landscape, gem of the Alpi. On required a service of guide will be furnished for visiting the various castles all around and ancient suburbs (Saluzzo, Manta, Castellar, Bagnolo and splendid Abbey of Staffarda). Two rooms are furnished for laundry and ironing to the service for the guest. The breakfast can be international or English.

Reviewed By EnneaNear very lovely Saluzzo there is the spot we needed to have two restful days in our South France and Piemonte travels. It was hot and having a pool at our feet was fabulous. As was the room with access to a balcony made to have that crucial morning coffee. Made by a the kind owner who also provides for a breakfast offering eggs as well as nice little Italian abricot filled pastry things. In nearby Revello we had our first pizza in Italy at Mammamia Due. Recommended. Some notes on location: in the midst of a lot of agriculture, ranging from grapes (for the very nice Revello wine perhaps) to apples and a lot of kiwis. Saluzzo is near and more that worth a visit. Mountains are near too. And there is a rather big natural stone processing plant next door. That might sound somewhat intimidating and there is indeed some sound but that did not stand in the way of our enjoyment. For us this is a very good way to enjoy this part of Italy.

It's part of a nineteenth-century farmhouse situated in a quiet farming village, in proximity of many historical and environmental attractions: the Monviso mountain, the source of the River Po, the Staffarda Cistercian Abbey, Revello, Saluzzo town of Marquis, the castles of Manta and Lagnasco. Excellent starting point for visits, excursions and many activities to discover the Southern Piedmont (Turin, the Langhe and the land of wine, the royal residence of Racconigi, the Olympic Mountains). Living room with equipped kitchen, make available on request of customers. Breakfast buffet with local products and regional specialties. Open all year. Free parking, patio, gardens, children's play areas, barbecue.
