Open seven days a week from Early April to the end of October, with free admission, it gives visitors a taste of old Dulverton and district,through exhibitions and stories. The Lyn and Exmoor Museum is a quaint museum in the town's oldest surviving domestic dwelling, a whitewashed stone cottage – with its own ghost! There are seven rooms, including a traditional kitchen, and it is crammed with models, photos, farm implements, toys, fossils, maritime and railway memorabilia, information about the Lynmouth Flood and so much more. It is only open from Easter to the end of October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but it is well worth a visit.
