At Scurrival Campsite you will find a truly unique place to stay. With the campsite situated on the north end of the Island it will be one of the most beautiful places you could stay. With stunning views across the sound of Barra, you will look over to neighbouring Islands Eriskay and South Uist. With only a 50 yard walk to the beach from the entrance to the campsite it gives you great access.

Reviewed By valentina mAmazing campsite, with a stunning view on the bay. The road is quiet, not so much car traffic. The facilities are very good, everything is always tidy and clean. Angus is a friendly owner, so kind, so nice, we loved him! We really enjoyed our staying here, thank you!

Barra Holidays is a new holiday park on the east side of the Isle of Barra, bringing together a caravan park and campsite with full facilities, the newly renovated Barra Lodgings with 7 ensuite rooms, of which 2 rooms have private kitchenettes, and the self catering holiday home; "Solas". The site has all amenities including free satellite broadband Wifi. Pick-up and drop-off service available.

Reviewed By AcmecorpVery disappointed... only gave 1 star, that was for the location only. The facilities, were tired and grubby. The site was a cross between travelers camp and scrap yard. People might argue what do you expect for £20 per night... but other site outstanding facilities which are clean and modern, Sorry guys... the site has so much potential, but won't be visiting anytime soon.

Small family run camping site located at the islands most northerly point 50m from a mile long pure white sandy beach. Facilities include; Toilet & shower, Laundry facilities, electrical hook-up, chemical deposit point, dish-washing facilities, indoor & outdoor drying areas, indoor storage area. 50m from sandy beach.The site offers a good degree of shelter from the prevailing winds.

Reviewed By SandraW1256What a gem of a spot! Friendly people. Friendly faces. Absolute 10/10! Camped in a tent overlooking the beach. Views were stunning. Site facilities were clean and well looked after. I definitely recommend!

Lovely small quiet site
Reviewed By cassie1298Stayed three nights on barra sands campsite, good electric hook up, some flat pitches in one area of site by hock ups and small flat camping area and a bit of shelter. Toilet block is lovely and clean and there’s good hot water, dish wash and fridges. Great walks locally. Would happily return. Derek was very helpful. Recommend for tents and vans
