This is a lovely old bridge and famously the lowest navigable bridge in the broads. We hired the only 4 berth boat they had left at Barnes Brinkcraft in Wroxham that might get under the bridge. Turned out we visited during a period of high tides so the water level was too high to get under it. Luckily Phoenix fleet adjacent to the bridge came to the rescue and we hired a day boat from them that gave us access through to areas I especially wanted to visit, Horsey mere, Waxham Cut and Hickling Broad. If we'd got our boat under it would have been a disaster as it would have been too big to get to the Horsey wind pump quay, the Waxham Cut and the pub at Hickling. So that was a silver lining!
