My wife and I stopped in on a whim around 16:00 because other restaurants on the street had stopped serving food. We were very pleased we did! Tino (one of the restaurant’s owners) greeted us with a smile. Because he wore a Triumph moto t-shirt, I asked him about motorcycles, and he pointed out a couple of cool vintage motos he had hanging up as decoration. He chatted with us for a bit, and checked up on us throughout our visit - he represented his place well, and provided great service. The bar was decorated with interesting art and other items. It had a relaxing and friendly vibe. Três às Bar had a good selection of beer and spirits. We ordered a couple of beers to start. Tino let me sample a Super Bock stout, but we ended up getting the Guinness Hop House 13, which was fresh and tasty. The menu was also quite adequate. We ordered the Tábua de Camarão (Boiled Shrimp, Garlic Mayonnaise and Breadsticks), Tábua Mista (Cured Alentejano Cheese, Salted Ham, Portuguese Sausage, Olives and Bread), and Panados de Frango (Breaded Chicken). Everything was very tasty, and the portions were generous. This was a great place to stop and relax. The food and drinks were satisfying. The service was friendly and efficient. I recommend the Três às Bar to all, and I will visit there again when I return to Peniche.
