The 5 Best Bars & Clubs in Montenotte, Province of Munster

May 14, 2022 Ying Subia

Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

The Shelbourne Bar

The Shelbourne Bar is a sophisticated Irish pub in Cork City with an authentic traditional atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of The Victorian Quarter of Cork City since 1895, it is renowned for its welcoming and knowledgeable staff, great service and extensive Irish whiskey offering of over 200 bottlings – the largest and best collection in Cork! We won the gold medal at the Irish whiskey awards for the best Irish whiskey bar in Munster and would be delighted to share our knowledge with you.

A great atmospheric bar right beside the Everyman theatre. Great service, friendly staff. Lovely range of cocktails (I had the most fabulous Negroni) and good bar food.

St Lukes Inn

St Lukes Inn is a traditional family run pub right on the St Lukes Cross. Run by one Daddy & three daughters, we think the pub is central to the community and with a warm welcome we invite you in for a coffee, a pint, some banter & craic. We love chats, conversation and like to run some fun quirky events, including bookclubs, meet up groups, doggie dates, concessional music. #ilovestlukes #drinklocal #thelocalslocal
