I’ve attended Jason's classes for several years and he is a brilliant, inspiring and innovative teacher and by far and away the best I’ve ever learned with. He keeps a close eye on everyone in his class and is very patient and encouraging. He also makes his lessons fun. Whereas some Pilates classes seem interminable, Jason’s pass in a flash. I recommend Ocean Wave Pilates to anyone who wants to learn with two of the UK’s finest teachers.

The Float Spa

The Float Spa is a health and wellness centre located in central Hove. We have a wide range of complementary therapies including meditation, life coaching, reiki, reflexology, massage, the one we are most unique for is floatation therapy. Floatation is a practice where you float effortlessly in a special pod of Epsom Salt water. Without the constant noise of analysing the world around you, your body lowers its levels of cortisol (which is the main chemical component of stress). Your brain releases elevated levels of dopamine and endorphins. Your muscles, joints, and bones take a well-deserved break. We also have a yoga and pilates studio with a range of classes for beginners to advanced, as well as having children yoga for 5-10 year olds.

This place has to be visited to believe how wonderful it is. The staff are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable and the services offered are cutring edge. There is an air of calm and no sense that you are ever being rushed. I used the infrared sauna and the floatation tank and came out feeling completely relaxed and happy. I thoroughly recommend this place if you need a bit of me time at a very reasonable price.

Do Your OM Thing Yoga

I'm Roise, and I've always been interested in Yoga, and used to practice at home with my parents, my first teachers. In those early years I learned that movement should be playful and creative, and I'm passionate about imparting that lesson, as it helps us to loosen up. -And judging by the laughter that can be heard from the classes, I'm on my way to achieving that aim! I draw on a variety of movement disciplines, so my Yoga sequences are creative and designed to take you on a journey! I aim to inspire you to ‘Do Your OM Thing’ whether that’s modifying a posture, taking a leap of faith in a Yoga Pose or integrating yoga and meditation practices into your daily life. 'Doing Your OM Thing' is a philosophy which is designed to integrate body, breath and mind. When you develop agency through breath and movement you'll feel more empowered both on and off the mat!

If you have ever had the chance to meet Rosie at DoYourOmThing, you can agree that she is one of the loveliest people you’ll ever know! Her love and knowledge of yoga is unmatched. Her knowledge and support has allowed me to understand my body better and to delve deeper into my practice. She is the embodiment of living yoga off of the mat - teaching us that yoga is not just the pose but how we live our every day lives and the choices we make. There is still so many things I can say. A fantastic teacher turned friend. If you have the opportunity to take a class, a one to one or do a teacher training with her, I guarantee it will change your life for the better. Thank you for everything Rosie!

I started using power plates 3 times a week and just after one week I saw difference not only my body looked fitter but I had more energy and became more confident and somehow felt happier! The power plates are amazing. They take 30min to complete workout and it is equivalent to 1.5hrs of usual exercise! The plates vibrates like 30times per second so it makes your muscles work harder and harder. The trainers (Nina and Dani) are supportive, positive and just very welcoming. The class can only fit maximum of four people so that excellent as the trainer can still focus on each one of us. And the classes dont cost much like usual pilates classes, so that is very encouraging. I cant see myself now not doing power plates, honestly. It is very addictive ???? Go in and talk with Robert about the cost, as the website is not correct about prices. Usually it is 10 classes for £65 which is amazing really. Enjoy!
