Kiteschool Lappis offers a variety of wind and watersport activities in Oulu. With us you can learn how to snowkite in the winter or kitesurf in the summer. Oulu has one of the worlds safest locations to learn this sport (trust us, we have been in many locations) and with us safety is the top priority. In the summertime you can enjoy the Oulu rivermouth with stand up paddle board. Our rentalshop is located at the small island right at the opposite of the market square (right where the small boats are parking). We allso have our surf school and rental location at Nallikari beach resort. Here you can find us in the lighthouse at the end of the beach. Ukkohalla Ski&Sport Resort is located in Kainuu in Finland By Lake Syvajarvi. All types of downhill skiers are taken into consideration on the slopes of Ukkohalla. Complete beginners have their own area where they can safely improve their skills before taking on the larger slopes. The difference in levels in Ukkohalla is 170 metres.Something suitable can be found for everyone from the 14 slopes available. The most challenging ones are the renowned Hallapark and Treeride slopes, where you can watch the most incredibly skilful tricks performed if you don’t dare to try ski jumps or snowboarding rails yourself! JuniorPark is for children but is also a safe place for their parents to get familiar with ski-jumping and rail-sliding. Ukkohalla’s snow reliability is unique in all of Finland – the season on the slopes always lasts at least till the 1st of May.

The combined swimming hall / sports centre was built in 1977. Renovation work was completed in the swimming hall in 2006 and in the sports centre in 2013.
