Buckmore Park has been making pulses race for over fifty years. Since its launch in 1963, it has become the breeding ground for many young drivers, eager to cut their teeth before moving on to different types of motorsport, this list includes Triple F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button. But aside from being a bona fide, blue-blooded race circuit, Buckmore has something to offer everyone, no experience necessary. Whether it’s for that first taste of motorsport or just another box checked on the bucket list, thousands of adults and children flood to the circuit each year to experience the twist, turns and adrenaline rush of driving on hallowed tarmac.

This railway is operated by volunteers. All profits are reinvested into the railway. This site is an oasis of an open green space a stones throw from Kingston. We operate a 7.25 gauge ground level railway AND a multi gauge elevated railway. We offer parties access to our meadow complete with large picnic tables and umbrellas. On open days we run trains between 2-5:30pm. We also have a decent kitchen offering traditional cream teas and an ice cream parlour complete with diet busting ice creams. The railway opens on the first Sunday of every month from Easter until October plus any bank holiday Sunday and Monday.
