Powerpark

Reviewed By Leevii - Seinajoki, Finland

Our family has been in Powerpark almost every year during the last 10 years and it has always been worth the money! There are enough rides for small and big :) Junker (experience the G-forces!), Booster and the wooden roller coaster are the main attractions for my family. There are different kinds of restaurants in the area, but you can also bring your own snacks. The amusement park is kept tidy at all times which is really great. And it's not that crowded as eg. Linnanmäki in Helsinki. I can highly recommend!

We visited Winter World for the day as part of our cruise excursion and we loved every minute of it. Winter World provide you with all the gear to ensure you are not cold and a free shot of flavoured vodka upon arrival from the Ice Bar. Our ticket included a husky sled ride - which we didn’t realise - and this was fantastic! The dogs were so lovely, and super excited to run, and the experience was great! There are lots of other activities to do also and the ice slide is fabulous! We had an hour here as part of our day and we loved every second of it!

Levi Huskypark

Levi Huskypark offers different length huskyrides with over 20 years experience. On the guided tour in the park quests will meet and hear stories about sledge dogs' history and everyday life, animal training and movieanimals such as reindeers, arctic foxes and wolfhybrids. Huskypark is open around the year, on wintertime huskyrides and guided tours and on summertime guided tours and nature programs.

We simply turned up and they let us into a tour group without the slightest concern/issue. There were 75 dogs in total - quite a pack. The guide took us around and talked us though the various pens; all culminating in a sled ride. Great fun, really nice guides & interesting. Thoroughly recommended. P.S. whilst the guides kept on reminding the parents not to let their children put fingers into certain cages (the dogs are not yet trained), it was staggering how many ignored this. Hopefully Finnish H&S law will mean that the parents are told they are to blame.......
