the Mazzone farm is a family business producing wines for 3 generations only with grapes from their own vineyards. Over the years the company has received numerous awards for the quality of its wines. For some years we have opened the doors of our company to visitors, to let them know how our wines are born, in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the shade of ancient olive trees. The whole tour will be accompanied by our enolgo which will also cover the final tasting of native wines: Nero di Troia, Bombino bianco, Minutolo, Malvasia bianca. A tour appreciated by many travelers from all over the world Minimum 2 people

San Giovanni Rotondo is famous for his work in the city of St. Pius (known as Padre Pio) of Pietrelcina, and the city where the venerated monk worked his miracles. Pio was beatified in 2002. In the Capuchin Monastery Padre Pio received the stigmata in 1918, and where all those supernatural events led to his sainthood and canonization took place as well. We wished we could see Pope Francis but we could never expected we could see him so closely thanks to Rossana great effort. Rossana and our driver Luigi are both great persons and the visit to the Pope very well organized. They both were professional, supportive, engaging and very helpful. Rossana took really a great effort to make the visit tailored to our needs and she had great sense of humour. Big thanks to R and L. We would highly recommend this tour.

Paola and Donato have “unearthed” a brilliant wine museum dated back to 1572 with lots of hard work and passion. The museum is very interesting and Paola’s tour fun and informative. Then down to the cellar for tasting and yummy local food. We tasted 3 wines which were all superb but varied. We enjoy being able to chat with these 2 very passionate young men who shared their journey with us. They were also interested in our experiences with wine at home and elsewhere. If you are in Altamura don’t miss this enjoyable and very good value for money tour.

Rome Italy Explora

Alberobello is a place to visit, above all because of the trulli, made of the local stone. Trulli is a word that derives from the Greek "tholos" (trans: "dome"), the typical shape of the buildings. Each whitewashed "trullo" is built with a lime or cement, and it is a piece of furniture that is connected to the kitchen and other rooms. The Trulli were strategically built to throw off the government to hide under the law and evade taxes, so they were meant to look like an uninhabited settlement.
