This was a great way to relieve our designated driver for a day and so glad we opted for this tour. A lovely little hike to see Pacaya Volcano close-up, we were the first party to ascend that day and glimpsed some lava. The views from the top were well worth it and taking El Arenal route on the descent was an adventure. After the hike, the Kawilal Spa was just the ticket! We even had the whole area to ourselves due to the pandemic, so all felt very safe. The smoothie and lunch there were also very delicious. Could have done with a tad more direction at times, but all part of the fun!

If you are traveling to Guatemala, you have to ride with Byron! He had all of the essentials covered! He was right there for us when we arrived at the airport with a sign and everything. His vehicle was well maintained and absolutely pristine. Not only was he polite, kind and great with kids; he also spoke flawless English which helped quite a bit because my Spanish is... a little rusty. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. He went above and beyond in every way possible including but not limited to amazing knowledge of local custom and history. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and I can say I would come back to Guatemala just to see Byron again. He was that good!

I heard about this travel agency from a few friends that I’ve met while staying at Yoga forest. We all needed a shuttle from San Marcos to Antigua. They offered pickup from San Marcos but we elected to get the pick up from Panajachel. The person managing the WhatsApp hotline has been amazing. Even on a Sunday she/he replied very promptly and answered all the questions and concerns we had. I would highly recommend them!

Elmer was without question the best tour guide I have ever had for a tour of ancient ruins. I have been to Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat and several other sites around the world with guides but Elmers knowledge of Tikal surpassed them all. His English is incredible too, being very easy to understand. If you are touring Tikal I highly recommend his services.

I visited both Tikal and Yaxha with VIP tours. Elmer is absolutely a phenomenal tour guide. You cannot go wrong booking Elmer, as his knowledge is outstanding and he really gives people a VIP treatment with hotel pick up, flexibility, and the small touches. As far as the park itself, it was well worth the visit. Smaller than Tikal. The day I went, there was literally 1 other group in the entire place, so it felt like I had the entire place to myself. Maybe this was due to COVID and/or going mid-week. Either way, it was awesome to go. One tip - do the sunset tour. It overlooks two lakes & you can see for miles.

If you want a knowledgeable and professional guide look no further! We had a wonderful day birding Tikal and learning about the history of the site. Vinicio grew up in the area so his knowledge of and ability to find local species is fantastic. Vinicio also has a degree in archeology, so his knowledge of the Tikal site is also extensive. Combine all that with an easy going and friendly personality plus perfect English and you have the perfect guide for either birding Tikal or touring the archeological site (or both!). We were a 50 y/o couple at the end of a two week trip (so very tired). Vinicio was attentive to our need to take breaks and get off our feet. He would also be a wonderful guide for a family with kids of any age.

Marlon Diaz - the epitome of a personal tour guide. Very punctual, a confident and experienced driver, he is well informed in the history of the country, the local traditions and customs of each town that he drove us to, which were enthusiastically and effectively communicated, and helped to making our visit an unforgettable experience Marlon was eager show off the natural beauty of his country, giving us the names of the trees, flowers, birds, pointing out a lot that we would not have noticed but for his keen eye, making it for us a very cultural tour Courteous, interactive, sensitive, humorous, coupled with professionalism, he was particularly mindful of our individual requirements for the twelve days that he guided us through his country. I truly appreciated the constant attention he paid to my safety and well being, encouraging me to go the extra bit, when I thought I could go no further. . Highly recommended, without a doubt
