Dryanouvaina

Alekos and Dina Ntourmpali have chosen the Byzantine name of Portaria -Dryanouvaina- for their traditional accommodation. They ensure that you will have pleasant moments by creating a family environment with warm and friendly hospitality. The accommodation is made by wood and stone and is decorated with embroidery and other traditional staff, creating a sense of travelling to old times. We stayed for three nights at the end of April/start of May in the room at the back. There are only three rooms, all opening onto a shared living room and shared kitchen. The landlady, Ntina, treated us so well, like family, so we had a great time. The location is on the edge of the village so quiet and easy to park nearish. But you can walk the back paths into the centre of the village. The room is well appointed. Decent bathroom (with bath). No balcony but there is a nice seating area outside the front door. The breakfasts were lavish. The only downside was that the double bed wasn't particularly comfortable. Otherwise everything else was great. It would be a wonderful place for a large family or perhaps three couples (friends) to rent the entire place. But even when we were there we made good use of the kitchen and even sat in the sittingroom to read one evening.

Ghermaniko Guesthouse

“Ghermaniko Guesthouse” is a small, authentic, traditional hotel just in front of the natural harbour of Damouchari on the East Pelion Coast in the Aegean Sea (Greece), next to the old building served as customs office in the past. It is the oldest hotel in the area dating back in the beginning of 1900. It always served as a base for many travellers, fishermen and workers. It has been fully renovated in the year 2018 in a natural, simple, Aegean Sea style. It is considered to be ideal for travellers who seek originality, simplicity, romantism, clearness and harmony in their lives.

A piece of heaven.

A wonderful stay. Such a peaceful warm and welcoming environment. A must visit. Katerina and family made everything beautiful. Grapes for the taking in front of your door, the beach and harbor a few steps away and a breakfast view to savor of the harbor. We hiked to nearby beaches and fish restaurants. I could stay for ever.

Iliopetra Suites

Agios Lavrentios and Iliopetra are absolute perfection!

Reviewed By bnbmomjan

We spent an amazing week in Agios Lavrentios, at Iliopetra. Theano, Dimitris and Eleni made us feel "at home" from the first moments, if by "home" we mean "paradise'! We never felt the need to leave the village the entire time! Every moment, every view, everyone we met, every dog that greeted us, every bite in the local kafana[s] was perfect - the word that we kept repeating. We can highly recommend Iliopetra, and it is certain we'll return soon.
