There is a (not so clean) beach about a five minute walk away which is good to kill some time in the early evening - watch the sunset! They offer a free shuttle to the airport at what ever time you select which was a plus!

Reviewed By golfydesignStayed in 2 bedroom pool villa. A spacious room, fully equipped with your holiday amenities. a proper pantry to feed your fam and friends. Breakfast will be served in-villa. you need to pre-order your dish and drink. Not many choices. No restaurant here but they have a lovely small cafe serving freshly brewed coffee and some bakery. Location: The villas are hiding from the main road so you can expect a peaceful stay here. About a 10-minute drive to the beach. You can walk down to the main road for outside food and shops. Have wonderful stay here and will definitely comeback again

Reviewed By Leegrace122790We stayed from 4~9th of march. And it was a very pleasant stay. We had a 3 bdrm booking with a private pool. The staffs were very kind and they responded very quickly on your request. My mom's birthday was on 5th and i asked them about the cake For her on the 4th, and they were able to make it the next day. We booked a bbq set, and it was good. They provided shuttle bus every morning to the beach nearby as well as tesco wich was great. The staffs cleaned the room everyday and they brought us our breakfast on time. The place was very big and spacious, and quiet. Will definitely come visit again as i love this place.

Very close to the airport, lovely spacious individual chalets, wonderful gardens and a sparkling pool. Good Breakfast included and close to a 7/11 to pick up some essentials. Will definitely choose this place again.

Peaceful and Relaxation at a hideaway Resort
Reviewed By PatchWellingWe stayed here for seven nights and wished we booked more time here. But, we didn’t know what the Resort would be like from Goggle search. I loved it here and will be coming back for sure! The Kiri Resort is tucked away in Amphoe Thalang and away from the main road. We were in Canal 5 and looking around the Resort there were only 10 or so. There are some permanent residences here in the gated section. Plus the Red Room Suites has about 12 rooms, so, not a big resort which suited us. It is set in local rural Phuket and you will need a vehicle to get to places. The nearest 7/11, mini Tesco Lotus and Super Cheap are about 2km, turning right out of the Resort. But, do go into the local stores near the Resort, you can beers and all sort at local prices. Our pool villa is awesome and clean. We spent 4/7 days by the pool and an occasional trips to the beaches. Our two bedrooms suite is fully equipped for self-catering. There was a full set of kitchen equipment and condiments for use. There was even washing up liquid and sponge which were often neglected in other self-catering Resort. In your room, there is a red disc thing with plug, it is a mosquito ? destroyer, which works like a treat! The villa was equipped with air-con and fan. Internet was amazing as we’d logged in to work on our laptops. TV reception was a bit poor but we had our HDMI cable and watch films on our phones. However, the bedrooms was missing TV, nightstand and lamp shades which give you no option to read in bed. Our pool was lovely and we used it every day. It gets cleaned every other day of leaves and debris. The pool is about 1.5m depth all the way round. It is not heated but trust me you welcome the cool water on a hot day. We had do not disturbed sign on the door and only remove when we wandered outside for food. Our room was always cleaned very well by friendly maids. You can do your own clothes washing too and it dried overnight. But laundry service is available. We did not use the restaurant service at all because I’d cooked everything. The menu offers looked amazing though. There is a Restaurant here but it is for the Red Room Suites and guest. You ordered breakfast, lunch, dinner for an In-room service but it stopped at 8pm, same time as reception. The price is reasonable. The Resort is manned 24 hours by security but you cannot get 24 hours services because reception closes at 8pm. You have to be organised and either ordered your own cab if you want to go out. To the left of the Resort, there is not much around except a big market about 2km away, which is for locals. It opens on Friday night only but we didn’t know until driving past. We traveled around using the free shuttle service. It was not busy at this time, so we able to ask the driver for an earlier pick up. The shuttle services goes to a large shopping complex with a Tesco Lotus daily at 13.00-15.30 and to Surin beach at 11.00-16.30. There might be more services at summer months. We were lucky to have gone to Layan beach which was nicer than Surin beach using the shuttle. The driver ran us around outside these shuttle service schedule. Speak to him nicely ? All the staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the great stay! Thanks to the team!! I’d highly recommend this resort for value for money, friendliness, cleanliness and peacefulness. A recommendation to the Resort is adding more routes for guests, perhaps to Porte de Phuket, which opened on 12th December. Or some more literature on local areas and where to eat out. We only saw this on the way to Layan beach. We’d like to see more of the neighbours especially as we didn’t rent a vehicle and don’t know what’s around. There were no local buses that we could have used to get to the main road to have a walk or look around either. Perhaps as the areas become busier with other projects there will be more services available. I would still come back here for the peace and tranquility of the resort.

The family are so so welcoming, friendly and helpful, treating us to breakfast, providing free bicycles. The bikes were great, allowed us to travel along the beach front to some lovely different spots and a great beach club (splash) with lovely beachside pool. Lovely local restaurant at the top of the road by the 7eleven. Thank you for a wonderful end to our trip in Thailand!!!

Great Lanna style rooms, near the airport.
Reviewed By John SIt was refreshing to find such a comfortable place to stay so close to the airport. That's because the property was tucked away, surrounded by more ordinary architecture. My self-contained building was designed in the traditional Lanna style although it was not dark, as it had plenty of windows, a generous balcony area and it was built out of a light, honey-colored timber. It featured a comfortable bed, large bathroom with a bathtub, TV, WIFI, plenty of cupboard space and a little area with a fridge. I chose to walk to the main street to buy dinner and a few things at the 7/11. I think the beach was a short walk across the road, but I didn't venture there. The owners were onsite in a larger, separate building and they provided a good breakfast in the courtyard garden and a ride to the airport in the morning. I thoroughly enjoyed the night I spent here because it provided a great atmosphere to prepare for my flight out and the location made it very easy to get to the airport on time.
