My wife and I are huge book lovers and you could definitely spend over an hour in here if you speak French. They have a small English section with books priced at around £10+. A great place to hide from the rain and get lost in all genres of books.

Lille tourism office is located in the Rihour Palace. Their staff is very helpful and they suggested us several places to visit. They provided a useful map of the city and you can buy the tickets for tours there. The tourism office sells souvenirs and crafts made by local artists at reasonable prices. I bought several soaps for me and souvenirs for family and friends. Also the tourism office serves as the starting point for most of the tours in Lille.
