Jomo Electric Railway opened service in 1928. For connecting Maebashi and Kiryu transfer silk. Maebashi products silk and Kuryu is famous of fabric then. We visited Oogo Depot. There we could see trains very close to and step on the trains which maintaining. Firstly staff introduce in the Depot and talk about history and technology. Next go into train and sit on the drivers seat. It’s a train running at Inogashira line in my childhood. Next introduce various kinds of train parts motors, gears and tracks. At the last we can watch in the Depot freely. Now train using from 1928 is still running for event. It was incredible good experience for us. Very thanks to Jomo Electric railway staff. When you visit there find a call number on their web and make reservation. It’s worth to visit if you like railways and history.
