This is an excellent service which makes you smile and be happy because of the way you are greeted by the staff along with the music on arrival and decoration inside of the train is wonderful. It is advisable to buy a multi day pass for the duration of your stay as if like us you stay at resort hotel you will be travelling backwards and forwards all the time

The Access Narita - JR Bus Kanto

Reviewed By TicToc13 - London, United Kingdom

An efficient, convenient, comfortable and low cost way of getting from Tokyo Station to Narita airport. Bought my 1000 Yen ticket on-line, arrived an hour early (worried unnecessarily about finding the bus stop), and they simply put me on the next bus. Took an hour to Terminal 2. . If you are on the Imperial Palace side of Tokyo station (ie the west side) take the passage way underneath the station via the main entrance and head towards the Yesau North exit. The Daimaru building provides a marker. Cross the road (it is signposted) at the lights and head left for some 70 metres. Buses leave every 20 minutes or so. But only one large case per passenger in the hold.

Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway

My suggestion is take the ropeway one way. Either up, or down. The ropeway is great but to see everything (like the buddha and temple) you must hike down. And if you are stubborn like me and bought a round trip ticket without knowing, you must hike all the way back up afterwards... by hike I mean walk up ALL the stairs. And there are many. But it was so worth it. I took the ferry from Kurihama over. Pretty awesome day trip.

Not covered by the JR pass. Took the train direct from Keisei Narita (across the road from JR Narita) to Funabashi to visit the largest Daiso store in Japan. The store is right next to the station exit. The train was reasonably comfortable, reasonably quick (37 minutes) and reasonably priced (about 550 Yen). There is a good bakery inside the Keisei Narita station- helped the trip pass more pleasantly drinking coffee and munching on breakfast in preparation for the 7 floors of Daiso. The other direction of the train takes you into Narita airport which is a few minutes away.

Narita Airport Transport

Reviewed By justloveholidays - Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

My Tokyo hotel suggested taking the Willer coach to Narita airport and went to great lengths to book via telephone for me. However, the email and debit on my credit card did not come through in time so I assumed the difficult phone transaction had failed. I ended up getting to the bus terminal earlier than planned and jumped on a coach paying cash. I then saw my credit card had been charged and I did receive an email but it arrived late. It would have been fine if I'd waited and not got an earlier coach. I repied to the Japanese email in English, explaining the above and asking for a refund, not really expecting any success. I received a couple of prompt emails in response (in Japanese) which I translated a bit and replied as best I could in English. Totally surprised to find I then received a credit on my card and impressed that they could make sense of my enquiry and believed me as I had little proof I'd got an earlier coach and paid cash. Well done Willer. And the coach was fine - prompt, well sign posted and got to the airport exactly as planned. Can't think there's a better way to travel.

Don't need to look to hard to find this railway is great. Lot of small stations and scenery to be seen here. They do have a Steam Locomotive that is operational. and if your at Goi Station you can see 3 locomotives parked behind the main office and shed area.
