Cameron Highlands, Malaysia's premier hill resort, is located on the Main Range Peninsular Malaysia. At 1,829 metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands is the largest of all Malaysian Hill resorts and has a temperature ranging from 16 degrees celcius to 24 degrees celcius. Much of its appeal lies in the neat sprawling tea plantations that date back to 1929, as well as the terraced flower farms, strawberry farms and vegetable garden. Cameron Highlands consists of series of little towns that include Ringlet, Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja. The total population is approximately 30,000 the majority of whom are employed in agriculture and the leisure industry. The best tourist amenities can be found around Tanah Rata, the administrative center of the highlands, but Brinchang is fast catching up with a number of hotels, service apartments and restaurants.

A full day (8 hours) tour, starting with a visit by driving over Penang bridge to Orangutan Sanctuary Island on mainland Peninsular Malaysia to see some 17 Orangutan up close and personal. Get to know them by names - BJ, Adam, Hiroshi, Manu and others. We, the human, are being enclosed, not the orangutan. Alpha may weigh up to 300 kilogram, so be careful, they have the strength up to 7 adults! They shared some 97% of human's DNA; no wonder they are fun to watch. Upon returning to Penang Island, the afternoon is flexible itinerary. Among others you can visit a wet market to see unique produce and sample some exotic and fusion local foods. Visit a temple with poisonous snakes or enjoy street arts, Clan jetty, Clan-house, a Captain's house, George Town's World Unesco Heritage enclave or Thai temple. A good tour guide made the difference I don't usually post reviews but Khairul is an experienced eco tour guide worth mentioning. His passion for the environment and his heart to sustain it for the future generations to enjoy is something to be proud of. Going on his tour is definitely educational and worthwhile with his commitment to give his best. Myself and 6 other family members had an unforgettable experience just enjoying the beauty of the mangroves, the serenity of the river, it's wildlife, the fishermen community, and of course the fireflies tour that is so unique and remarkable in its mesmerizing beauty that one could not usually enjoy in the cities. Keep up the good work and we need more eco guides like you!

Ideal to have a romantic dinner. Food was good, not wow, but a 4/5. The views were amazing and so the atmosphere. There is a professional photographer offering nice shots with the KLCC twin towers on the background. It's a little pricey but not too much. Definitely enjoyed the experience.

Some great sites, but the view of the Petronas towers is in a random road a fair way away from the towers themselves (our hotel was closer with a better view). Two of the stops were definite 'fake tourism' situations, whereby the tour company clearly has a deal with the places (only visitors here are those on tours). The guide fell asleep a couple of times throughout the experience, and it was felt that at the end, they wished to go home and either rush us on or drop us elsewhere so we could make our own way back... One of the stops you visit we were told we would have 40 minutes, but as it's 25 past, I'll round it and give you until quarter to... (i.e. giving 20 minutes). This wasn't enough time to go in to the museum... which also isn't included in the price?! Overall I'd say this was a slightly expensive taxi service, with some nice details given within the ride.

Great day started with a fantastic driver Dhevan. Extremely informative and went out of his way to discuss area. Also gave us time for ourselves as we toured around Melaka. Dhevan pointed out other sites of interest around the area. I recommend a visit here. Being collected and dropped off at our hotel was fantastic. We were so impressed we used Dhevan to transport to the airport the following day.
