We were only two people so the price was a bit higher, but we really had the best time during this trek! We had a wonderful guide named Mun who was explaining us a lot about the nature and the culture of the tribes in Laos. He was born on the country side and that really made for interesting talks. He was following our pase and was very helpful. Hiker is really a good company. They work with local guides and support the villages in that way. The villagers get income from the tourists and take better care of the forest because of it. The camping in the jungle was amazing and the village stay was so nice. We had great vegetarian food and a soft bed an musquito net. Hiker may be a little bit more expensive but it is really a fare company. If you pay less it is not possible to do eco tourism, becouse then there is not enough money left to support everyone involved.

An incredible cultural and adventurous experience in the beautiful Nam Ha NPA! From visiting the morning market to collect our food supplies, to chatting around the fire at the jungle camp to learning about the local flora and its traditional uses, this was a real immersive and informative trek. Our guide Mun spoke excellent English and the other traveller and I learnt a lot about Laos and Khmu culture from him. We barely saw any other tourists and ventured deep into the jungle which I loved. We stayed in a jungle camp the first night and Mun cooked us a delicious meal (and catered for me as a vegetarian), and a lovely homestay in Nalan Neua the second night. Swimming in the Nam Ha river with the local kids after trekking for 7 hours the second day was amazing. As an ecologist I was also excited about seeing an Asian Tree Pit Viper. The 'moderate' level for the trek is appropriate, I've never sweated so much in my life but it was so worth it! An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to all. Thanks Tom, Mun and the rest of the team :)

I used this service for a round trip private transfer between Vientiane and Vang Vieng. Arranging was easy via email. Pickup was smooth. The driver had a woman with him I assume his wife but neither spoke English. Luckily I was able to talk to arranger on the phone. They got lost trying to find the hotel in Vientiane and I had to direct them using google maps on my phone. Overall we made it okay but could have been better.

Emailed the night before to confirm pick up. Picked up from hotel by electric buggy and taken to ferry. Crossed the Mekong and then 20-30 minute drive in the back of a pick up all part of the adventure getting there. The waterfall at the park had dried up as it was the dry season but we had been forwarned about this. Excellent safety briefing and then 1 to 1 instruction on the zip lines. We were the only ones in the first group of the day. Equipment all relatively new and European manufactured. Both instructors were humerous spinning round and zip lining upside down but always focused on our safety. Some nice long lines and a twin line which gave us some good photo opportunities. Only down side of just 2 in the group is we didnt have to wait for anyone so in 40 minutes we had completed the course. We had a cool drink and a wander around the gardens before being taken back to the ferry. We asked to be dropped off in the centre of town not at our hotel and the guide facilitated this. A good half day adventure. Recommend.

Very artistic temple. Can just go on your own. Don't need a guide. Its more to an art then a temple for prayers. You can make a wish on the wishing leaves and had it hang.
