I truly recommend SUV tour. Everything was well organized. The guide Chingiz was professional, friendly and flexible to our needs. Ww were not properly equipped for the long trekking and the guide proposed us an alternative itinerary which was amazing as well. We will come back to Almaty region to visit other beautiful places and we will use SUV tour again

Our excursions are interesting. We have several excursions. You will visit Tien Shan mountains and Tien Shan forest. During this excursion you will see beautiful Tien Shan mountains, you will go to waterfalls and breathe fresh mountain air in forest. It is enough to breathe 15 minutes and in your organism add vitamin C

This tour was great! Chingiz and Askhat arranged for to take our whole family (6 adults and 2 kids) up to big Almaty Lake and to the falcon show. We also stopped for lunch on the trip up to the Lake. The location they selected was fantastic! Great food and wonderful conversation. Both our tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip. The falcon show was wonderful and Chingiz made sure we all sat in the best spot in the bleachers, The grandkids loved the falcon show. Chingiz also took us on a tour of the falcon show facilities so we were able to see the birds and Kazakh dogs up close. We highly recommend Explore Kazakhstan!

Their services should be avoided at all costs. We booked a car to be picked up at Newark airport and when we landed, they told us that the car would meet us at the pickup location within 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, they redirect me to a bunch of dispatchers, even though I asked to speak with a supervisor. They told me I needed to wait another 30 minutes due to "delays". This is not the first time I have had issues with Carmel not having drivers available to pick me up at an airport, even though I book way in advance. This resulted in me having to spend extra to find a last minute option. Their operations are terrible, customer support is non-existent, and they should not survive much longer with so many better options out there. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Had a great day and tour with GB Travel, visited a lot of interestig places and got a lot of great stories and information. Especially, liked the organization of tour,was well organized and interesting guide. Would reccomend to visit Almaty and do excursion with GB Travel
8. Former Semipalatinsk nuclear test site
There are only few nuclear powers in the world, of them only 3 countries allow tourism related to military use of nuclear technology. While in DPRK and USA you'll visit only museums, in Kazakhstan it is possible to visit test sites literally, step on the same land, even walk in the crater of explosion. Within last 30 years a lot of work had been done to clean this land, so largely it is safe to visit even according to very tough Kazakhstan standards. Nevertheless, we will take all measures for safety, including dosimetrist service. What is unique here, is.. everything, literally everything!! Besides, I'll tell you many private stories and a lot of my personal collection of stories and historical anecdotes.

It was a nice experience. We got a good impression of this young and beautifull capital of Kazakhstan. We was attending a concert of the kazzkh biggest star Dimash - unique singer.

You may find that the capital is a glass city from future, consisting of unusual buildings tailored by the foreign architects – it is the Pyramid, as well as “Khan Shatyr”, which author is Sir Norman Foster; it is the heritage of the EXPO exhibition, the theme was “Future Energy”. The bird Samruk seems to protect the “Independence Square”; sitting on the top of “Kazakh Yeli” Monument, it guards peace and independence and if you just let yourselves day-dream, you could imagine that the bird is flying over the “Palace of Peace and Reconciliation” and taking a rest at the pond in the President’s Park. The “Independence Square” and “Nurzhol” Boulevard are connected by the bridges over the Yesil (Ishim) River, they prolong the “Millennium Axis” in which conventional centre the main monument of the country “Bayterek” is located.
