Usually don’t write reviews but by far the best tour we had in Mendoza. Booked a last minute tour as out flight was late. We visited three wineries and the owner Fede was the driver and guide. Brand new comfortable pick up. First we visited a smaller winery that specializes in white but did also have some great reds. Second winery was Acheval Ferrer, one of the best wineries in Mendoza in my opinion. Great experience and beautiful place. To last, we went to El Enemigo and had a superb luch and wine tasting. Fede is well recognized in the industry and we got to meet Alejandro Vigil. Even got a few signed bottles! Thank you so much Fede for an amazing tour.

The TANGO & VINO experience is designed very differently from the traditional Tango shows in Buenos Aires: - Aim for a limited number of people (maximum 50 people, with prior reservation) which allows you to see dancers and musicians in a privileged way. - The place where the show is held is an urban winery from 1884 considered a provincial historical heritage. Those attending the cycle will have the opportunity to learn about its history through a guided visit to its cellars. - Attendees can taste the three exclusive wines of the winery (current vintages) while watching the show. The idea is to generate a global sensory experience, bringing together two Argentine passions: tango and wine.

Inclusions: The experience includes the tasting of our iconic wine CARO (Malbec-Cabernet), our Reserve wine PETIT CARO (Malbec-Cabernet) and our Malbec ARUMA, The experience includes a gourmet cheese & cold cuts (vegetarian or celiac option with previous order), Guided Tour of the Historic Cavas, Tango show

Exclusions: Transfer, Other alcoholic or soft drinks

The joint venture of Catena and Rothchild has resulted in some very special wines. They have 3 that they sell, one Malbec, and two blends. Great tour. Ours was part of a day tour, so I don't know if you can just go on your own. But worth it if it is a stop on your trip. Geat history.
