La Bodega de las Estrellas

La Bodega de las Estrellas is nearly 200 years old and testifies the succession of four generations of vintners. As Spanish's organic agriculture pioneers, our vines are cultivated in harmony with the environment allowing the synthesis of aromas, flavours and antioxidants. We use centenarian clay jars (tinajas) for winemaking. They provide a unique character for the wines and soften their tannins. Moreover, we ferment only with wild yeasts, to let wines express their origin: terroir, fruit and traditional processes. Our sunny lands provide grapes with a perfect maturity and permit the natural creation of fruity aromas and flavours. Natural wines full of vitality and without any additive. Respect to the consumer and quality are our priorities. This concept reflects the passion and love we put in winemaking. In the visit you will discover our handmade cave (9 meters deep) and the naturality of our wines. Visit hours: Monday to Friday: 12 pm and 17 pm Saturday: 12 pm Sunday: 11 pm

Bodegas Corcovo

Reviewed By Steffi49 - Belgium, null

Unfortunately we couldn't visit the bodega because it was Sunday and we hadn't booked ahead, but the shop offers a good selection of La Mancha reds (tempranillo and syrah) and whites (as yet unknown to us - looking forward to tasting!) as well as a selection of olive oils and cheeses. The wine - even the reserva - is very good value at less than 4 euros a bottle.
