Even though we didn’t time our visit with high tide to see the water blowing up through the coquina rock formations, we loved our time here. Walking through the “jungle canopy” from parking lot to ocean was an unexpected bonus. You immediately forget the cares and concerns you may have come with. Once you get to the end of the boardwalk and see the ocean a short walk south takes you to exquisite coquina formations. It’s a great spot for unusual beach pictures. At low tide you appreciate the height of the cliffs, and at high tide you see the beauty of the water spouting up as though through blowholes. So it’s a win no matter what time of day you visit.
We combined our visit here with lunch at Teapot and Treasures in Juno Beach, followed by a stop at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, before our stop here. A lovely day.

interesting,but not mind blowing. We tried to get here for high tide...I think we may have missed it, probably tide was going out. Interesting rock formations,and when the occasional wave hit the rocks, it splashed pretty high. Try to go here on a blustery windy day, I'm sure it would be really cool.The day we went was pretty calm and quiet.

What a lovely little animal sanctuary. Well maintained and staffed. The bears, bobcats and panthers were especially interesting. Also a lot of birds and some nice natural areas to wander thru. This is a donation only facility and one that everyone should support.

This 1 hour 45 minute tour is so worth it. $24 for the boat tour and a 20 minute guided tour of Trapper Nelson's camp. The scenery along the river is breathtaking and so very native Florida. We were told that the 'gators and turtles tend to be more visible at low tide when they can go to the waters edge and sun themselves. Might be worth it to check the tides before you go. Low tide you see more wildlife but can't go as far on the river. High tide you get more boat and river time. Both the boat captain and Trapper Nelson tour guides were very knowledgeable. Weekends tend to be more crowded with kayaks, canoes, and some motor boats along the river.

This beautiful beach park is located on South Beach Road. It is directly off Highway 707 and South of Jupiter Island but before Jupiter Lighthouse. (Also something worth visiting when you are in the area/read about its history plus it had just reopened when we were there in June of 2017.....)
There is plenty of parking and a nice park with shade overlooking the beach. it is a bit of a steep decent down to the beach. We went on a weekday and there was just a ranger checking turtle nests and one other person on the beach. The lifeguard was friendly which we appreciated.
The beach is long, but not wide. The sand is fine, but there are rocks along the shore. You must pick your way to find an easy in. The water is great and clear until the tide kicks up.
One real treat is that there two huge turtles that frequent the beach and gracefully ride the waves.
This is definitely worth a visit.

This is one of the few places in the area where bringing your dog is actually sanctioned unlike area restaurants where people assume they can bring a mutt into a dining establishment.
It's great seeing the dogs enjoying each others company and frolicking in the surf. The only problem is owners seem to think you love their dogs as much as they do and allow them to run off leash sniffing your picnic lunches and kicking sand up on you while you bathe.
Best go to other beach if you don't like dogs trying to take a bite out of your sandwich.!

Wow. Endless trails for walking, running and biking. Picnic area, history. What more could you ask for. We came here for a 5 mile walk and enjoyed every minute. Beautiful trails right in Jupiter - but no cars and noise. Just pure nature. Parking is plentiful. Clean bathrooms and no fees.

My boyfriend has been wanting to try this place and we went to lunch at square grouper (should have stayed there) so we came here after. Upon arrival, there was a gentlemen sitting outside in the walkway to the entrance with his two dogs. We asked if it was dog friendly and he said not inside and there was an outside area behind hi with table and I asked him if that area was where you can bring your dogs. He said that belonged to the café next door and the brewery doesn’t like you to sit there with their beers. That should have been my first clue. We walked in, and the bar was pretty busy. There were single seats in between people so my bf picked up a char on one side of a person to bring it over to the other side so we could sit together. The bartender with the fuzzy beard and baseball cap snapped at him to not take that chair. (??????) So I stood until the person next to my bf left. Seriously, what was the big deal about moving a bar stool? Then the blond bimbo bartender comes and takes our order. I don’t do beer so I had a glass of Riesling which was OK. My boyfriend got a sampler of 4 beers, and he only liked one of them. We’re sitting and drinking and low and behold, a guy walks over to the chair my bf tried to pick up and was told to put it down, and this guy walks away with it and takes it to a table which there are several bistro high tops against the wall. The nasty fuzzy eared bartender did not say a word to him. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I wouldn’t leave a tip so my bf did but no matter what he left, it was way too much. The beer is as bad as the bartenders. Horrible experience, nasty bartenders, lousy beers. Plus it was so dark in their I couldn't see a thing...

Just off the beach in Jupiter there is plenty of parking and access to that beeach. The main area of thepark back across ocean Drive has trails to walk, excercise stations, other physical capbilities (tennis etc.). It is pet friendly and frequently the venue for many free events throughout the year.. (ie. Paws in the Park)

I attended this workshop with Dr. Bella for my Massage Therapy CE's but it was so much more than a CE workshop. It was a very spiritual healing week-end filled with bonding and understanding of myself and others attending. I learned more about myself and my uterus than I ever imagined. This workshop went way beyond my expectations of what I thought it would be.
