Right in the heart of downtown Ashland, Oregon is Lithia Park, named after the lithium in the water that runs through it. Designed by the same landscape architect that designed the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, this is a jewel. Accessible and well used by locals and visitors alike, it is especially lovely in the fall and spring. Wildlife also uses the park as no dogs are allowed, bears, mountain lions, and lots of deer have been sited and photographed.

We went to Blue Heron Park. This is a very nice community park. There are very nice picnic areas. For the children, there is a nice playground. Locals also have a community garden there. The grass areas are well maintained. its a very pretty park.

Located in Southern Oregon, the Rogue River is a great fishing area.
Rating 9 of 10 The trip was great ? I definitely want to do it again the only thing I didn't like was I didn't know how to pack for it and was a bit underprepared, other than that the trip was awesome.

Although there are a number of branch libraries in the system, the Burton Barr Central Library is the largest and most well-equipped facility. The building stems from the 1990s, but looks totally modern and functional today with state-of-the art technology and architectural features married to the traditional book and media collections that are housed there. The glasswork, waterfall, spacious hallways and centres are complemented by an archival collection and "makerspace" area. People in Phoenix seem to love the Burton Barr Central Library and it is a place where a wide diversity of patrons, from school children to seniors (and even the homeless) have found a home. Highly recommended.

L'Unica Is a place to come & get pampered! I carry the Eminence Organic Skin Care line, and offer luxurious treatments featuring the products. I also specialize in Sugaring, the ancient art of hair removal. There are always facial & product specials.
My experience with Savina was incredibly nourishing, from the initial communication, to the treatment itself, extending through the follow-up. Her cute studio radiates warm energy and every detail is so carefully thought out, including the biomat to lay on. Savina's care, attention to detail, and passion for the Eminence skincare line shows through in everything she does. My facial was a sensory journey through an herb and vegetable garden, with each product showcasing its healing properties. I was sent home with glowing skin and a goody bag full of samples. I cannot wait for my return!!

Family owned and operated, StoneRiver Vineyards is dedicated to producing distinctive premiere quality wines in the Rogue Valley. There is over 100 years of agricultural history on our historic Brook Farms property, one of Oregon's earliest registered farms. Our unique growing environment has been conducive to the continued production of some of Southern Oregon's finest wines since early 2000.
We visited several area wineries and were really impressed here. Not only are the wines tasty and reasonably priced, the tasting room is a blast from the past. A cozy feel with old memorabilia including a free juke box still playing 45's. A table top version of shuffle board is fun and so are all if the interesting old items inside and out.
The room is someplace you just want to come and hang out in and it has the bonus of great wine and friendly staff.

ScienceWorks is a fun, engaging science center where kids and adults can rediscover wonder. The innovative museum features nearly 100 interactive exhibits, an outdoor garden, live science demonstrations and dynamic programs year-round that encourage children and adults to learn about more about various scientific principles. ScienceWorks offers educational programs for students and teachers, as well as public programs including workshops, lectures, birthday parties, summer festivals and science camps.
Lithia Park on a sunny day is hard to beat, but if you are in Ashland with a child on an inclement day, there is NO BETTER PLACE to be than here.
My advice: Forget about seeing everything on offer here. Yes, each display is interactive, informing, and well designed. But face facts: your kid's interests are paramount here. If he or she is looking bored with an exhibit, and you think you've given it a fair explanation, then move on to another.
What a delight this place is!

We visit most libraries as we travel. This one is first class, well stocked and good condition. Just pop in and spend some time.

A beautiful, clean and well lit library with computers available and most any type of book you seek. The workers are helpful. There are current newspapers and an assortment of magazines to read. The restrooms are clean. Elevators are available if you wish to avoid the long staircase to the second floor. Sometimes the homeless take advantage of the chairs to nap in there rather than read. It doesn't seem to be a problem, though.

Under new ownership as of April 2014, we are proud to be part of a new type of tasting room experience. We offer traditional wine tasting, as well as wine by the glass or bottle. We also offer draft beer and a select menu of small plates, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. We have outdoor tables and fire pits during the summer, and live music every Friday and Saturday all year long. Our wines as well as our tasting room are beautifully crafted. Plan to stop in and see us next time you're in the area. We look forward to meeting you!
Beautiful setting in the Rogue Valley. Rustic wine tasting building with scenic views of the valley. Friendly staff. We tried the classic flight of mixed whites and reds. They are sold out of their Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc so didn't get to try those. I'm more of a dry white wine drinker. The whites on their flight were all to sweet for my taste. I did enjoy one of their reds offered in the tasting, Red Tail. We will return in the future when they have their Malbec and Sauvignon back in stock.
