New Sammy's is a small, hand-made, 29 year old restaurant with a vegetable, fruit, and flower garden. We serve lunch and dinner, use organic and "best-practices" ingredients, and have a wine list worth a detour.
I am in my car at the restaurant discussing with my SO our wonderful shared meal. Arctic char, chicken breast, wonderful local viognier, and two fabulous desserts.
Meeting Vernon was a highlight. What a delightful restaurant owner who combines high customer first personality with outstanding culinary delights prepared by his wife.
Thank you for a very memorable evening.

Actually 4.5!! I love to have meetings here during the quiet hours. I love coffee and I love quaint and I love Talent - halfway to Medford so good place to meet my Dreadford contacts. Check it out! Easy to find, too, which is great for business meetings.

La Tapatia Restaurant and Meat Deli is located in historic Phoenix in beautiful Southern Oregon. The restaurant opened in 1992 and has been family owned and operated ever since. What is La Tapatia? La Tapatia is an endearing name given to the women of Guadalajara, Mexico. La Tapatia Restaurant has taken great pride in creating fresh, authentic food in the spirit of celebrating unique flavors of the Guadalajara region. We have a relaxed and welcoming setting that our guests and loyal customers from near and far have enjoyed over the years. Voted "Best of the Best" by Southern Oregon Magazine, and "Battle of the Beans" Winner three years in a row, La Tapatia has developed a reputation of excellence and is highly regarded by locals and visitors alike. We also offer take out and catering services. La Tapatia invites you to enjoy our daily menu in our home or yours. Mi casa es su casa...Bien Venidos!!
Dollar tacos use to be only on Tue. now it's Mon. to Fri. Great tacos...some of the best North of the border. I can usually eat only three since they are served on double corn tortillas with a generous serving of meat and topped with onion, cilantro and lime My favorite are the pastor tacos. Nice salsa bar with green and red with different hotness levels. Also a nice cold and spicy marinaded veggie condiment is free with onions, jalapenos, carrots etc. Our go to place when wanting authentic tacos.
They have a large menu with lots of other Mexican dishes, pozole, rellenos, enchiladas and much more.

Our first visit to Morning Glory! We loved it! Great coffee, wonderful food options for breakfast and lunch. We tried the kale risotto cake and hash browns and the Mediterranean omelette with sliced tomatoes. Wonderful!
The interior of this quaint little cottage is just precious. Quintessential Ashland!

We've been dining here for 36 years and just love the place. The food is always fresh and delicious, the setting is relaxing and comfortable, the wine list is reasonable and mostly local, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The menu is eclectic, but we almost always order the specials which are whatever is fresh, local and in season. They often use fresh herbs from their garden and prepare EVERYTHING on site. Did I mention the HUGE amount of food? The biscuits made fresh daily, the salad dressings, and the soups come with every meal - all fabulous. It's basically family run, friendly, comfortable and DELICIOUS! You will not be disappointed.

We seek the finest ingredients, utilizing organic, small-producer items. Shaded outdoor dining in summer months. Voted Best New, Oregon 2002 by Northwest Palate.
This was my second trip to Amuse, but my feeling was the same: they have perfectly well cooked food and provide a sophisticated setting. But the menu is limited, the food is unexciting, the price is high and the place really isn't all that much fun. Our waiter didn't make us feel very welcome at the early sitting -- he was impatient with the elderly people in my party. I'd recommend New Sammy's . Larks and Alchemy well ahead of Amuse.

The food was alright, better than some places and did offer grass fed options. Ordered a couple of burgers with fries and a salad. They were relatively quick in getting the food to our table. The seating was outside and they didn't really have enough heaters to keep all the tables warm. Really loved their fire pits with the glass, but the seating next to them was poorly set up. Food is ordered at the counter and then someone brings it to your table. For the cost of everything, I would have rather gone to a nicer restaurant with service.

Ingredients like truffle oil, wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, pears, and marionberries layer in the Oregon flavor. Our Pastry Chef's creations depend on what is available that season and include fruit tarts, chocolate cake with housemade salted caramel ice cream, or cranberry-pumpkin bread pudding. Our beverage selection extends the theme of local and seasonal with a choice of herb-infused cocktails made with Oregon spirits, local wines, and beers. Larks' downtown Ashland, Oregon restaurant creates a connection between restaurant guests and our local farmers, ranchers, distillers, and winemakers. Come on in for a taste of local flavor.
I came by myself to Larks Home Kitchen and sat at the bar for an amazing 4 course meal that included a salad. burger and two lovely glasses of wine.
The bar tender brought the wrong salad initially and apologized profusely for doing so. Then brought the right one. Delicious!
I moved through all the courses effortlessly to get me to an 8pm curtain at the Elizabethan Theater and the staff and food were amazing.
This place is owned by the same company that runs the Luna Cafe at Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites which is my "got to" Ashland hotel for my twice yearly visits to see and experience the outstanding theater.
You must stop by and experience this restaurant before the show in Ashland. Amazing food and service awaits you.

This is a wonderful donut shop with pleasant service, great selection, and the freshest and tastiest traditional donuts you want to splurge on. Soft, fresh, moist, not sickeningly sweet, overly oily, or making you feel like you're eating terrible ingredients. Yes, it's not health food, but Puck's is a place we'd gladly go for our donut/sweet fix anytime we're in town!
