Governors Beach was a beautiful day spot for our family during our cruise stop to Grand Cayman. We utilized the public bus to and from the port area, which was an easy walk and overall convenient and affordable means of transportation. The beach was clean, not too crowded and very beautiful. Snorkeling was also very nice at this location.

Cayman Ferries

Reviewed By suomiluv - East Haven, United States

Been coming to the Caymans since 1992 and remember taking the Ferry then; for some reason, the Ferry Service to Rum Point stopped for a few years. I was so happy to see the service resumed when I visited in April of 2019. If you're staying in the 7 Mile Beach area, and don't have a rental car, it still makes it very easy to travel to Rum Point and Kaibo Point.
