Visited here in February 2020. Walk was beautiful and there were a lot of birds. Nature center was interesting and volunteers were helpful and informative. Amazing to be surrounded by the city but feel like you were out in the country.

Mount Douglas Park

Lush, green, tall trees, quiet breeze, just off the ocean, best of both worlds: seaside entrance to Mount Doug! Great trip for morning or afternoon excursion, always bring a raincoat and a sweater, a pair of light gloves, sunglasses and bottle water...great moderate bike ride, accessible by public transit....enjoyable!
