I decided to skydive for my birthday and it was an amazing experience. Skydive Georgia was the right place to experience my first dive and I'm so please with the level of service and my coach Shaun was literally the best. He had my back and kept me cool calm and collected the while time. I would definitely tandem skydive again with Skydive Georgia. While the 2 hour wait despite having a reservation was long, their website clearly warned of the possibility. Ultimately, I had a great experience and will do it again.

Whether you’re looking for a thrill to spice up your day, an item to check off your bucket list, or a new hobby to throw yourself into, you’re in the right place! Skydive Spaceland-Atlanta is one of the world’s most progressive skydiving training centers. This third-generation family business has been offering our famous Texas hospitality to new and experienced skydivers since 2000.
This was on my wife's bucket list so I purchased two jump packages with the HD video and pictures for both of us. Sadly, my wife injured herself several weeks before the jump and could not go. I asked my 29 year-old son to join me which he gladly accepted with my wife coming along to cheer us on from the ground. .We scheduled an afternoon jump on Saturday. The jumps were running behind all day due to weather, after loading into the plane at 4:30 PM we were cancelled when a typical southern storm blew up over the jump site.
We rescheduled for the following day in the morning. The jump was amazing and the biggest rush I have ever had at 57 years old. And this is coming from someone who hates heights. I won’t deny that I was scared to death when I went out the door, but once out the fear quickly disappeared and I was all smiles in the video and pictures.
I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Skydive Spaceland. From the initial appointment call, to the training, and the way the entire staff makes you feel at ease and works hard to relieve your fears. My instructor Eduardo was excellent, in fact amazing. He definitely know how to provide the best experience he can. Melinda, his wife was our videographer and she was amazing. Both my pictures and video were amazing. I fact they were beyond amazing. I highly recommend paying the additional cost for the video package. You won’t be sorry.
The videographer for my son ended up having an equipment failure and the video during freefall did not work. I guess it happens but the staff at Spaceland made it right. They gave him a great break on the next jump. A free t-shirt, and a free video and picture package on his next jump. And most importantly, they could not apologize enough. Not sure who owns the operation, but he definitely hires the best staff in the industry in my opinion.
Can not wait for jump #2 when my wife is healed!!

I liked visiting the little museum located near the bridge. I took my family here in July and I really enjoyed the walk and learned a little of the history of the area, afterwards we soaked our feet in the water under the bridge by the old water mill and the water was ice cold felt great and got some great photos also. There is a cute little library down the road not to far from the bridge I totally recommend visiting at least once to get a feel of how it was in the days of old..

3 nice exhibits showing different perspectives. One was a graphic arts style painting exhibit. Great western art in a new perspective and color palette.
The photo exhibit showed many aspects of western life from several cultural viewpoints. Great range of subject matter.
Preserving native culture exhibit was very thought provoking by showing the old ways and ties to current times and issues.
Additionally local artists had a great exhibit downstairs in a variety of formats.
Always fun to see what has been changed out each time we go.

We've come here several times. We ride the Silver Comet on our bikes and we leave a car at this spot as a shuttle back to our launch spot. This lake is a great place to swim, eat lunch (you can bring your own), recuperate after your ride, and chat with your friends. The owners are nice and they don't allow ANY horseplay. That's a good thing because it keeps the place peaceful and all the swimmers safe. I will be back!

They get the latest movies. Two movies always showing. Clean theater and great personal. Easy to get there and no problem with getting sitting. Family owned theater so they keep in tip top shape.

We rented tubes here with the kids and 5 and 7. They supply life jackets, mandatory ages 13 and under. You can rent a cooler ($10.00, blowup), can rope to tubes. You can get rope to tie little ones to you and there are bottoms in the tubes. We were dropped at the Etowah River, advised pick up point and small island to stop at if wanted to. We did, it was cool, had sandwiches and sodas that we packed. Trip is about 3-3.5 hrs. And abut of a climb out of River. Staff was great and price was reasonable!

I would definitely recommend this museum, go here before you tour the college grounds. It is very informative and you feel like you know her by the end of the tour.

Designed by legendary golf course architect, Tom Fazio, The Frog is recognized among the top courses in Georgia. Located off I-20 in Villa Rica, The Frog is a masterpiece complete with bentgrass greens, expansive bunkering, and has also attained status as an Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary.
This is just the second time I have played here and both times it had been a good experience. The course is in excellent shape. The greens are super fast. The course plays long. Par 3's were about 170yds. from gold tees. This is a semi private course which is open to the public. It's not cheap even for members at $35. If you can, come on out and test your skills. I recommend.
