Rockmart is a city in Polk County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,199 according to a 2010 census. Rockmart developed as a railroad depot town when the Southern Railway built a station in the area. The community was incorporated in 1872, and was named from abundant deposits of slate in the area. The Rockmart Downtown Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Good Mexican food with fast service after our silver comet ride. Decorated nicely. Easy to find. Rapid service. Good food at s fair price. The Georgia football game was on. Worth going too

genuine bakeries like this are getting more and more difficult to find. especially the good ones like mac's. they've perfected do nuts here. there is nothing fluffy about them. they are not light. they are not particularly pretty, but boy howdy do they ever meet the mark as far as tasty and delicious goes. i know how it would be possible to not finish the first one and have the 2nd one nearly eaten before you make it out the door. its an olfactory gold mine too. a place where just standing inside absorbing all the flavor and letting your eyes be decorated with the contents of the bakery cases is reason enough to make the 90 mile drive here worth while. mrs bbq, my resident petit four authority confirms that these were some of the best ever and the trip was worth while even she had condemned the whole concept of my plan two hours before we got there as frivolous and another bbq expedition. some times that i told you so smile makes everything so worth while....we cannot wait to return

We went after a bike ride. We expected the old Italian restaurant, and were a bit skeptical. Our skepticism was unfounded. Our meal was wonderful, the service was great, and the price was reasonable.

This Dairy Queen is good if you want a coronary. The food is greasy and they have five dollar daily specials too. I go there sometimes because it is fast and I like their Sprite.

I've lived in the area for my entire life and the pizza farm has always been a staple. Great food (pizza, pasta, steaks, chicken, salads, etc...) and totally worth the drive every time! Family atmosphere and friendly service every trip! Do not miss this hidden jewel of rockmart!

I have not been in many years, but we decided to check it out again. Very pleased with everything. I had the Cajun Ribeye, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife's filet was slightly undercooked but she still enjoyed it. Our sides and salads were great. I remember loving their rolls but they weren't very good thus time. Service was good and prices were good. We'll be back.

There's just nothing like a simple, standard, American-style breakfast to get you going, and the Waffle House is my choice. I usually get country ham, eggs over medium, and hash browns. My wife is a biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and hash browns kind of person. The coffee is very good, the service is prompt, and the prices are decent. Can't ask for much more than that!

Nice place food was good service a little slow but I think it was due to One young lady having to cover too many tables by herself ,but she was nice and kept appoligizing and was just all around super nice.

Usually, this place is so crowded that you can't find a parking place. I guess summertime and the holiday has effected business because we were able to get a parking space today (weekday).
I've always said that restaurants can't survive without good service. The only thing Jefferson's in Rockmart has going for it is GREAT food. Fried mushrooms, fried shrimp, and fried chicken fingers. The oil tastes fresh, the food is fresh, and they know what they're doing in the kitchen. The servers must be really new at waiting tables because ours and two others I observed aren't efficient and don't know how to talk to customers.
Normally, we wouldn't come back but we probably will since the food is so good. I would guess most people come for drinking and bar food. You won't find bar food here though. It's better than that.
