Do not miss DM Weil gallery if you are in the New Paltz area! Donna's art is absolutely stunning--vibrant, colorful, joyful, radiating light. Donna works on premises and it is so special to hear her talk about her wonderful art on display. Donna, Sammy, and Ken are so sweet and welcoming, as well as incredibly knowledgeable with regards to both the art and the many printing services they do in house. This was a wonderful place to spend the afternoon, not to mention I picked up the most unique hand-painted overalls!

My Mother (71), my Grandmother (92), my Daughter (15) and I (43), wanted to Celebrate my Birthday in a fun and different way while staying local, because my Grandmother has a difficult time sitting in the car for a long time. Normally my Daughter and I are Broadway bound for special occasions so we weren't anticipating much more than some nice family time together. However, we were all SOOOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by the caliber of acting, choice of Plays and the extremely comfortable intimate venue that we felt equally as entertained and pleased as if we had made one of our NYC trips to an actual Broadway Show... and all for such a reasonable price and the ease of it being practically right in our own "back yard". The performance had us literally crying, laughing, holding our breath and warming our hearts as if we ourselves were in the "experience". And then, to top it off, we walked over across the parking lot and enjoyed a delicious and eloquent meal at this charming little restaurant with outdoor tables looking over the picturesque mountains. Although, it was too chilly to utilize the outdoor dining, we found the inside just as quaint yet contemporary as one of our favorite City Eateries. We were all so pleased (and surprised at the Theater's comfortable seating for my 92 year old Grandmother to enjoy the entire show without any back complaints that usually come up), that we decided to make it a monthly tradition. We all STRONGLY RECOMMEND everyone to come and experience for yourselves what we believe is now one of New Paltz's and the Hudson Valley's Local Treasures!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this Orchard with lots of apples, delicious honey crisp, Gala, golden delicious, Ida red varieties, didnt find any Macintosh left. Go down the hill towards the back to find the Golden delicious. After apple picking, you can walk to the Kettleborough ciderhouse and sample at least 5 different types of Hard cider. They have a real pretty spot with seating overlooking the orchards and mountainside, catch a sunset, just beautiful.

My husband and I had a really nice visit here! We were staying in the area and decided to stop in. We’re glad we did. The tastings are done outside on the veranda overlooks the vines. Our server was sweet and answered all our questions. We decided to get a snack to go along with our wine tasting and the pepperoni/mozzarella roll up was delicious! I chose the white wine tasting and my husband chose the red. All the wines came in little plastic containers which were very Covid friendly!
