The 10 Best Things to do in Mont Tremblant, Canada

December 13, 2021 Nobuko Falco

Skiiers have flocked to Mont Tremblant since its first chairlift and lodge opened in 1939. Now, though, it's just as popular with snowboarders, who love its 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps, and its Olympic-caliber superpipe. Don't fret, though, because despite its name, this mountain doesn't actually tremble... unless you've tossed back a few too many in one of the village's bars!

Tremblant is fabulous! The pedestrian village is beautiful and the two other Tremblant villages are next door and have great restaurants. The skiing is fantastic for all levels, there are green trails to double blacks from the top. Even during school vacation week, there were no lift lines. There are many other activities, too. There is an indoor waterpark and spa onsite. There is also an activity center that will hook you up with a variety of excursions. We did a dog sled tour and drove snow buggies. It was fantastic! If you go, bring a lot of layers. Actually, bring ALL YOUR WINTER CLOTHES. It is freezing! If you live in the US northeast, drive the extra few hours to Tremblant. It is worth it.

We went to the trail on the golf course in the Domaine Saint-Bernard. First time on my new skate skis, trails were just groomed after finally receiving snow, mild weather, very few people, friendly staff... it was perfect! *Covid rules enforced and respected.

Dogs accepted. Lots of point of view (walk on rim) . Best one is N6, with a 360degree view. Parking can be a challenge in peak season (fall colors). There’s a shortcut to get to the top if you dont feel like doing the full loop. Plan 2.5hours at family pace. You can do the nez de l’indien trail after if you want a longer workout. Trail markers have been added which is a lot better.

Went here during a stay in Mont Tremblant. We wanted to do snow tubing, and had this place recommended to us by a couple of people. It was more fun than we expected. We benefited from beautiful weather, and being mid-week there were only a few other people there. We had a great time, and would both go again and recommend it to others.

We have been going back to Mont- Tremblant for 4 years in a row with our children, 8 and 16 years old now. It is magic place, with activities to offer for any age and style. There is so much to choose from. We have done family white water rafting and family zip line with a visit to buffalo farm, we've done hiking the mountain in summer and skiing in winter. Every single visit has been spectacular, from accommodations to activities varieties that are perfect for all of us in different times, as the children grow. As well fantastic professionalism of any staff member in the resort, and the beauty of the village and location, within driving distance for us, manageable with children is an absolute great addition. I strongly recommend Mont- Tremblant as a place to visit.

Went to the casino two nights. It's was 80's and 90's themed. Fun watching people dance and loved listening to the music. The slot machines were fun. I got lucky and stayed on a machine for a few hours. I would recommend checking out this place if your'e up there.
