Beautiful island with many minsyuku for stay packaged with meals. We had a wonderful stay in Taisei Minsyuku in Himakajima. It's our first experience of staying in a minsyuku and being treated to a feast for our dinner and breakfast. The uniqueness of the food preparation was fantastic. Finally we got to taste the octopus for one of the dish for breakfast. With accommodation, dinner and breakfast, we paid 9000 yen only. Value for money. We played handheld fireworks at night. According to the owner of minsyuku, they only play fireworks during summer.

If you could understand their rearing the see animal, you could enjoy seeing the performance by dolphins including the crossbreed of Risso's dolphin & Bottlenose, which has a nickname PUDDING, 23years old, the world record as the culture date, and one by the sea lion. In addition, you have a chance to shake hands with dolphin before getting the certification their office issued.

とても癒やされるアートの島です。
アート作品以外でも島の雰囲気が素敵なので、本当に楽しめました。
島としては、高齢化と過疎化を問題に抱えていたところから、アートを打ち出して佐久島の活性化を考えたそうですが、今ではたくさんの観光客でいつでも賑わっています。
島内の各所にアート作品が展示されているので、歩きながら楽しむ事ができました。
人気のあるアート作品は、写真撮影の為にたくさんの人が並んで待っている程でした。

We had a 24hours break in Shinojima. We enjoyed very good seafood in the most tranquil environment. We stayed at the minshuku 水夫の宿岬 (http://m-misaki.com/): very favorable price/quality ratio. If you choose to go there, ask to stay in room 302 (has a window facing the sea from the east: enjoy the dawn!)

ถ้ามีเวลา และขับรถเอง โรงงานข้าวเกรียบกุ้งน่าสนใจครับ ด้านหน้าเป็นโซนขายของฝาก ถัดเข้าไปจะเป็นที่เเสดงสายการผลิด ถ้าไปกับผู้สูงอายุ น่าจะชอบ โซนโรงงานพื้นที่เล็กๆเดินง่าย Good point to visit many test of cracker to try. This products also sale at NGO airport. Behind sale area is factory tour. Factory tour,just a small area(very small).

It was great to have visited this place and see the vast field of sunflower blooming everywhere. Beautiful. We stopped by this place on our way to Himakajima Island. Entrance fee is 520 yen.

源義朝公最期の地として有名なお寺ですが、信長の三男織田信孝公自害の地でもあります。「昔より 主を内海（討つ身）の野間なれば 報いを待てや 羽柴筑前」と秀吉にあてつけた辞世の句が有名です。義朝公の墓のすぐ近くに信孝公の墓もありました。

免許をとってから何度も知多半島をドライブし、ここにも何度もいきました。
昼間はなんてことない場所ですが、夕日が沈む頃は海に反射してきれいです。
とくに冬は空気がすみ、三重県側に沈む夕日がロマンチックでおすすめです。
ノアノアというハワイアンカフェからはその様子が眺められるのでぜひ。
夕方は混み合うので早めにいってください。

知多半島最南端の港町で、師崎港からは日間賀島や篠島への高速船が運航しています。フェリー乗り場内にも小さな売店や軽食コーナーもありますが、外にも大あさりとか食べられる売店がありました。羽豆神社やSKE４８の「羽豆岬」の歌詞碑も駐車場から歩いてすぐでした。
