Frost Pottery Garden

Stopped in to pick up some succulents. My mother had purchased some a couple of years ago from this shop and they have thrived and their growth has far surpassed the growth of her succulents purchases elsewhere. They sit in the same area, same lighting, same water....so it has to be the health and quality of the plant that is superior. The plants are also affordable at $4-$6 a plant depending on the size.

The shop has much more than plants and landscaping decor. My daughter had a difficult time deciding between a mermaid doll and am adorable little stuffed seahorse. The seahorse won out.

The daughter of the shop owner was working and she was wonderful with my young daughter and both professional and personable.

Great shop with a lot of unique items.

Barefoot was great. Before we visited Mexico beach, I called and spoke to them over the phone. They were helpful and answered all my questions. Then we emailed back an fourth, and again they were very helpful. I got all my questions answered and we got our kayak squared away for our visit. When we arrived they delivered the kayak to our rental house and answered any other questions we had. I would recommend barefoot kayak in the future, and I would say to rent the kayak for a week. That's the best value and allows you to enjoy it the most. Try a early morning trip.

We (4 of us) went on an 8 hour off shore trip with Capt. Tom Adams on 7/7/13. We had a good day of fishing. We started out the day by catching grunts and blue runners which we later used for bait. We caught about 35 Vermillion Snappers (BeeLiners) and several Red Snapper including some huge ones. Unfortunately all the red snappers were caught in federal waters and we could not keep any. We caught a couple of big sharks, a few lane snappers, grunts, spade fish, etc. It was disappointing that we did not catch any groupers. The bait we used was in addition to the grunts and blue runners was squid and cigar minnows. We went about 23 miles offshore. Capt. Tom was nice and accommodating. The boat while not exactly new was comfortable.

Left Bank Art Gallery

Reviewed By Maria S - Knoxville, Tennessee

This small art gallery is attached to the coffee shop Graba Java Internet Café. It is worth going to look around on its own, but very convenient if you happen to be eating or grabbing a coffee next door. It is a little hard to find because along with the Café, it is behind other businesses.

We enjoyed looking around at all the interesting art and crafts such as handmade jewelry. They also had other items for sale that would make good gifts. We ended up purchasing some really cute books for a little one.

There is no admission fee and will not take too long to admire the art. Give it a look.
