I listened to the los Angeles hip hop group Cypress Hill before but that did not prepare me for the experience. It is one of the best parks in all of SK and alberta . Stayed at the Terrace Campgrounds and it is the legit spot with all the mod cons. Some parks you got to do your business in a he in the ground but not here. You can use the washroom in comfort at the cypress hills. Lookout point is pretty chill buy just check out the bald butte a little further and you can feel the vibe and everybody come alive. Them views is off the chains. They gots the general store in the park if you needs anyting. The Loch area got them lakes where people get they swim or kayak or paddle boat on. They also got some zip lines but you ain't gonna catch me ridin on them zipoines up in the air. Bottom line is Cypress hill is slept on as fat as parks I Alberta or SK go. Most people roll up in them big campers but if you got a twnt that's all you need.

Fort Walsh National Historic Site

Reviewed By T4232XIjohnb - Toronto, Canada

It's not easy to get to Fort Walsh even if you're visiting the somewhat nearby Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. However, the roads are very much passable and the destination well worth the journey. Fort Walsh was the first NWMP fort and was constructed in 1875. The location was important - the nearby hills offered sweeping views of the prairies and it was located along an important supply route which came up from the U.S. It was also the area that the Lakota settled after the Battle of the Little Big Horn. There are very few original structures here but those that do exist have been built with authenticity and include many historic artefacts. It's a bit of a walk down from the visitors' centre (where most of the exhibits are closed due to COVID) and there are some long walking trails which will take you to the site of the Cypress Hills Massacre.

This place left me feeling so happy! Goat yoga has been the highlight of my life. HIGHLY recommend it, great for beginners as I’ve never done yoga before. The goats are so friendly and adorable. The alpacas are majestic and I love them. All the animals are well cared for and seem so happy. The food is amazing! Try the garlic fries and cinnamon buns. I will be back next year and the year after that until I die.
