Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat

Reviewed By Thomasachen - Chengannur

Though we have seen the polished form of marble in all places it’s an amazing experience to see the natural form of it as huge Mountains.
Since we were a group of 18 we took a 25 seater boat ride through these rocks and the boatman was also a experienced guide who could keep us engaged by giving snippets about that place all through the ride and we did not realise the time fly by for an hour.
Off season the best time since the crowds are less and you get better bargains for the boat ride.

The most beautiful ghat i have ever seen in India! I just wish it was more maintained and not allowed food vendors and coaxing boatwalas. We were so awestruck by the magnanimity of the ghat and the stone structures surrounding it. Bless the queen Ahilyabai Holkar for building such beautiful monuments all over MP. Such a thorough job of artsmanship. A must must on your travel bucket list. Would love to go back stay there for couple of days.

The jungle it self is very beautiful. Very few people get a chance to see a tiger in the wild. If you miss it, do not get disappointed. Enjoy the jungle. The jungle itself is very beautiful. The chances of tiger sighting is maximum in summers. As the tigers come out of dense jungle to drink water. Chances of tiger sighting is highest in core zones, Tala, Magadhi and Khitauli. There are plenty of other wild lives like spotted dears, bison etc. There are canter services available as well in case you do not get online booking for Gypsys.
