Beautiful spot to see the yachts and supercars which line the Marina. Buzzing atmosphere especially at night.Plenty of cafes bars and restaurants to choose from most doing excellent seafood and local Portugese food.Nice place to walk right around with beaches at either end. Plenty of places to book on a boat trip to see Dolphins or the local sea caves or paragliding for the more adventurous. We found the area to be friendly to families with children too and we tended to eat earlier in the evening before it got too busy.

Footgolf is played like golf on a course like golf, with the difference that you kick a football around instead of hitting a small golf ball with a golf club. The cup on the green is obviously larger than normal, so it can room a football. The lengths of the holes on our course are between 35 - 95m and divided into par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes. BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS and have a GREAT game of footgolf! You can play either 9 or 18 holes of fun golf, where you kick a football with your foot, instead of hitting a golf ball with a club. EVERYONE can do this from 5 years and up! A new, modern and excellent shopping mall in the Algarve region, near the beach of "Quarteira" and the "Marina de Vilamoura". IKEA is the anchor store and many other important international brands have branches at "Mar Shopping Algarve". Cinemas, supermarkets and restaurants complete the scene. Plenty of parking places and even valet parking is available. Fast food brands are there, as well as fine restaurants. While in Algarve, and having some free time, I strongly recommend a visit to this cosmopolitan mall, probably the best one in Algarve! Enjoy!

As this nature park has become very popular, it's wise to park the car in the 1st parking lot or even better, further back, close to the small bridge. As the 2nd parking lot is almost always full and initially build for disabled people who can't walk the extra 10 minutes. We saw two accidents with cars trying to fit in the smaller 2nd parking lot. Also good to know that only the hiking track is public, all plots left and right of the path are private and local landowners get very upset if you acces their area.

If you want to melt some plastic this is the place to visit for all the well known designer labels sometimes with huge discounts. I attended the opening and have visited several times sine for a walk through the orange ???? grove streets.Would recommend an early visit ????????????????
