Como parte del Complejo Cultural Leonardo Favio, nuestras salas han ofrecido diferentes propuestas artísticas y culturales, tanto nacionales como internacionales desde el 31 de mayo de 2014 - dos años más tarde, en 2016, el Honorable Concejo Deliberante de la ciudad de Lanús finalmente declara como Museo al edificio histórico (primera sede del municipio) que ocupa MACsur. Hoy, aun dentro del Complejo Cultural Leonardo Favio, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Sur ofrece muestras periódicas que pueden visitarse de manera gratuita de martes a domingos, de 12 a 20 hs - visitas guiadas: sábados, domingos y feriados, a las 18 hs.
