This park is part of Langley just a couple of miles from where my husband and I live. The park is great for walking trails, horseback riding, picking berries in the summer, family picnics and party areas for renting. Accessible for prams and bicycles. In general, this is a fabulous place to spend on any day of summer.

We cycled down to Derby Reach in early November on a nice sunny afternoon. The park is a great spot to head to just relax and enjoy nature.

This Canadian aviation history museum contains fine examples of both civilian and military aircraft.
although i am partial towards commercial passenger planes, this museum had an amazingly collection of vintage military planes. an absolute heaven for plane enthusiasts and history buffs. located within the compound of a small airport which caters to small propeller driven aircraft. there was an aviation school too. certainly worth the visit as we were on our way from Vancouver to harrison hot Springs.

It was a well known name, but I was a bit disappointed. It was part of our self-drive tour in Langley. Small front tasting room, but a larger room in the back accommodates bigger groups. It has a small outdoor bar / Seating area with view of vineyards. Small gravel parking lot.
Knowledgeable staff. Tasting fee is $5 per person. I found the pours to be small, less than an ounce. They have a wine club for exclusive bottles.
It's definitely worth stopping in.

The casino is slightly above average. The Hotel portion of the Casio is in desperate need of renovation and upgrading. The lobby is not inviting. The Casino is a good size but is in desperate need of upgrading. No internal improvements have been made other then the Buffet and Matches restaurants. The layout needs rethinking as well as placement of washrooms and the redesign of the washrooms.
Restaurants are above average. The casino needs to place stickers on slot machines which allow patrons to text or phone a number to get service at the slot machine. The casino should have a free pop station as they do in most Casinos.
It would probably be cheaper to build a new casino then to do the renovations needed.
But gaming is good. Still need to change machines out more often.

The Great Escape is an indoor family entertainment center and theme park for all ages. Large indoor jungle themed playground, interactive floors, Ballistic Ball area, 3D indoor mini golf, laser tag, Air Trek obstacle adventure, toddler area, redemption games and great food. Book birthday parties, team windups, corporate team building, private parties, corporate Christmas parties, fundraising venue or just drop in and play.
My 3 kids (ranging in age from 4-12) love this place! It's a little pricey to get in the door, but you can get coupons in the Entertainment Book sometimes. And check their website for special deals.
Tons of play areas (we try to avoid the arcade area at the back which is not included in the admission fee). A contained toddler area provides fun for the under 3 crowd and for older kids they have lots of fun slides, climbing areas, & a bit hit is the dance/play floor that lights up.
Generally seems clean & the staff appear friendly & helpful. Food is not cheap, but you get a good variety of choices, from pizza & chicken strips to nachos & sandwiches that are actually tasty. Coffee is OK & there's even a slushy machine.
Overall this place is a winner!

This was very interesting because they had different fruit wines and other gifts made out of their fruit wines. I was with a red hat group and they were very accommodating with tastes and samples of cheese.

Immerse yourself in the traditions of small batch cider making at our farm based cidery. Enjoy the tranquility of our orchard and savour the refreshing cider served by the knowledgable staff in our tasting room. Relax with friends in the picnic area and sample locally sourced charcuterie with a chilled bottle of cider to share. We are family friendly and welcome well behaved, leashed dogs. Our opening hours are seasonal - please check the website for uptodate information.

We've been visiting for a few years whenever we are in the area. What a fun place to explore and discover the gems from our pasts! Be aware of the limited days and hours that it is open, but well-worth planning your trip around them. (We do it every time we're around.). Also, be aware that the the store and outer areas have tight paths, but create a cool ambiance to explore in.
