We went on a speed boat tour around island Vis visiting Blue Cave, Green Cave, Stiniva Beach, Stončica Beach and submarine base.
The tour and the guide (Pino) were excellent. We saw and learned a lot about the island Vis.
Big thanks to Alternatura for an amazing day.
Highly recommend the tour and the agency!

The B-24 Diving Centre (previously B-17), located on the beach called Jurkovica, in an entirely reconstructed space of the former wood-shipyard in Komiza, ranks among the largest and the most beautiful diving centres in the Adriatic. It was named after the American B-24 bomber, known as the last specimen of the Liberator, also called Tulsamerican, sunk on December 17th 1944, in the vicinity of the Island of Vis, at the depth of 42 metres.

I called ahead this dive center to arrange diving for me and snorkelling for my child and friend who are non-divers. I also went straight there when I arrived to finalise the arrangements. They made me wait around for an hour, then said they were fully booked with 2 tour groups (which they must have known about in advance) and their boat wasn't suitable for children as it had no cover. Ended up having the best day with the children at Issa dive center who were accommodating and friendly. I didn't dive here, but if this organisation is anything to go by I am not sure I would want to.

The island Vis offers amazing diving locations: beautiful flora and fauna, wrecks, caves,...The life under water takes your breath away. OK, not literally. A professional dive team from the Issa Dive Centre takes care for enough air and good guidance. They are experienced, good organized and friendly. That was my third and definitely not the last diving vacation in Komiža with the Issa Dive Centre.

Thanks to them, our holiday was very successful. They showed us everything that is most beautiful on Vis and Bisevo. They are incredibly nice, cheerful and kind. During the trip they talk about the history of the island and the places, that we see. On the boat you will also have a delicious two-course dinner, wine and fruits. But the best of all is the concert. They sing well and play the guitar. It is beautiful. I would definitely recommend boat trips from Ames! Greetings from Poland :)

Great service, very reliable, professional, fast and a good price. I had a great ride from Komiža to Biševo, our captain Toni took us to amazing locations all around Biševo and was patient with our wishes and waited for us to take our time and dine. We had lots of laughs and a great time. The transfer was really fast and fun with a nice soothing reggae soundtrack. If you are ever in Komiža, they will take care of you and give you a ride to remember!

I was mesmerized by the knowledge end experience this guy have! Being a history and croatian language teacher, licenced guide but also the local resident knowing all the local "behind the scene" stories he brings the Komiža past and present so easily and, more important, on a really funny way. Being a member of the mountaineering association he deffinetily knows the paths and brings a certain feeling of safety while being on our route.
He is also an excellent english speaker!
The best part was at the top of the hill where we took some time to soak up the incredible view of the blue Adriatic Sea, Islands and Komiža bay. The best place for selfie lovers!
In the end of the route, being tiered but with smile on our faces we took a swim in the beautiful Perna beach where we tried some delicious cakes made of local carob tree!

We have visited Manta Diving centre in Komiza three years in a row. The two first years the kids have had "Introduction dives", while this year our son (12 years) completed the Junior Open Water Diver course.
The staff have always been very friendly, and have fulfilled all our wishes, even if we have showed up on short notice.
Intro dives in the sea around Vis is amazing, and you can experience a lot.
We live in Norway, but the course for our son was completed as a combination of learning from hone (web-baed), and a follow up on site this summer. The course was safe, and all aspects of diving were handled, in a smooth combination of theory and practise.
After three days, the exam was passed. We can highly recommend this centre to anybody.

We did Blue Cave excursion with Royal Marine Croatia in the morning, and in the afternoon they offered us to visit Stiniva bay and Green Cave. Blue cave, Green cave and Stiniva bay are amazing locations to visit, but these two brothers, who own the business, are capable of proving that it's not about the destination, but the journey. With their amazing speed boat, we experienced so much fun on the sea, the boat is really steady and comfortable while cruising on around 28 knots, music onboard gives you that special summertime feeling while driving and we enjoyed every single moment on in. Such amazing experience is must do if you visit Komiža.

Avec mon mari, nous avons passé une semaine de plongée (12 dont une de nuit). L'équipement est mis dans le bateau le premier jour et y reste jusqu'à la fin ce qui évite les ports de blocs durant le séjour. Il y a un ascenseur sur un des 3 bateaux. Les sites (épaves, tombants, pics, grottes...) étaient différents tous les jour. Nous avons pu plonger au nitrox et au trimix sans nous ruiner... Il y a toujours une sécurité surface. Nous remercions Andy et toute son équipe qui sont super ce qui a contribué à rendre notre séjour formidable.

Kizárólag jó idő esetén áthajózhatunk Bisevo szigetére, kb, 100 kunáért. Ott kisebb sorban állást követően 50 kunáért megtekinthetjük a kék barlangot. Kisebb csónakokkal visznek be. Komizán érdemes megnézni a hegyoldalon lévő Szt. Miklós templomot reggel 10 és 12 között este 19 és 20 óra között van nyitva. Másik látványosság a strand háta mögött lévő kalóz templom, valamint a kikötőben található erőd a halászati múzeummal. Ide kb 20 kuna a belépő. A múzeum kicsi, de a teraszról a kilátás megéri az árát. Szintén reggel és este van csak nyitva.
