I visited several vineyards in Napa and Sonoma on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Maybe it was the beautiful architecture of the building and grounds, or the amazing brick oven pizza that we enjoyed for lunch...or maybe it was the gelato that proved to be the perfect sweet treat to round out our meal. It could have been the perfect Prosecco that kicked off our tasting (which I purchased) or the subsequent selection of 4 additional wines (2 of which I purchased). Whatever it was, it was perfect and was an awesome way to cap my trip. Oh...I also joined the VJB wine club...so there!

My husband and I visited the Kunde Winery today and did the mountaintop tasting, and it was wonderful! The view is unbeatable!! Our tour guide, Wade, was very hospitable, knowledgable, and fun, as well! We fell in love with the Red Dirt Red variety and left with a bottle. We would have joined the Wine Club if Kentucky, the bourbon capital, didn't have such strict rules on shipping outside alcohol in. We loved everything about our trip. This place is a MUST SEE!

So accommodating! You’d be surprised at how difficult some wineries can be. Can’t buy a bottle. Not allow kids or pets. Only wine tastings. No place to sit and relax. Not Landmark! Great wine and they allow you to sit, enjoy a bottle, with or without a formal wine tasting, bring in kids and pets. Can’t wait to go back!

Deefield is my favorite winery in Sonoma. I love the people who work there and their wines. We are wine club members. All of there wine is "clean" which in simple terms means the red wines won't give you a headache. There tasting room is located in a cave which is very cool. We even did a barrel tasting with the owners Rex and PJ. They are currently offering zoom wine a food tasting during covid that I suggest everyone should take apart of. We can't wait to go back soon but in the meantime are enjoying all our Deerfield wine. On a side note we brought friends up who are wine club members in Napa and they told us this was their favorite Sonoma wine.
