Just half an hour by bus from Kawaguchi stn. , this park
is good for family for relaxing and fun throughout the day.
This park is not a free entrance, but the parking is free
instead. Once you get in, go straight to SL ride(fee apply).
Mini-scaled SL is always crowded with kids and infants.
You can bring your own lunch, otherwise there are kiosk +
restaurant near the entrance.

大正時代に建てられた壁がレンガ張りの和様折衷の住宅で、中を見学することができます。外観は一見洋風ですが、室内は低層階は一部を除き和風で、3階は洋風の造りになっていました。池のある庭もまた趣があり、当時の優雅な生活の様子を垣間見ることができました。

埼玉県川口市にある蜜蔵院に安行桜を見に行きました。
お寺のホームページでは3/14で7分咲の案内でしたが、暖かな日であった3/15にはさらに花がほころんだようで、枝先にはポンポンのように花房が付き、もう満開でした。
蕾の姿もまだ少しはあり、桜の見頃の時期は1週間程度は続くかと思いますが、ソメイヨシノとのコラボは今年は難しいかもしれません。
暫く天気予報は雨が続くらしいですが、雨が上がるのを待っていたら満開の時期が終わって舞う可能性があります。
蜜蔵院へ桜を見に行くならばお早めに。

If you live in Kawaguchi area, this gallery is the must to stop by.
This gallery also offers you and kids workshops and talks all
year round for a small fee.
Though this facility is a limited space to exhibit, this could be
the first step to get to know the works by local artists.
This place used be a part of Sapporo brewing factory, so as
shopping centre next door.

This festival is held each August in the Kawaguchi Autorace Circuit in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, and is organized around the theme "let's built a friendly city through festivals." The enthusiastic citywide effort to set up the festival formed part of the inspiration for the name "Tatara," which means, "to make hotter/heat rapidly." A variety of civic and volunteer organizations as well as local businesses set up booths. Activities are geared toward both children and adults, and include a "Challenge Corner" where entire families can enjoy a haunted house as well as traditional games. Events include parades, the carrying of mikoshi (Japanese palanquins), and the Nagashi dance. A fireworks display will also occur concurrently.

オートレース場で、花火を見ることが出来ました。スタンドの席からみようと思ったら、花火が高いところに上がったため、屋根が邪魔でよく見えなかったところが残念でした。でも、近くでみられたので、迫力を感じることは出来ました。
