We were in Croydon for the weekend to attend a family funeral and stayed in a hotel opposite here. On Sunday our last day we were advised there was an open day at this museum and it's a very interesting place to visit, it most certainly was, we had an excellent guided tour with Graeme and all very interesting especially hearing about the first long distance flights. This place is great for learning about aviation and early air travel.Highly recommended.

My first visit and had the Arroz Caldo as a complimentary dish for traveling with Philippine Airlines. I also had some excellent Chicken, bacon and white bean stew. Ioana is a great cook and the whole team made me feel welcome. It’s hard to keep smiling with such a turn over of grumpy travellers but they do keep the place clean and topped up with freshly prepared food. If you fancy Arroz Caldo they have it for the daily flight to Manila so I think it’s only in the evenings. Ioana made sure I didn’t go hungry and also served me with an excellent biscuit and and coffee cake.
