It is only 2,5 km from the historic city of Gaiman, in Patagonia Argentina.During the four seasons, CHANPA gives passengers the possibility to go on tour in the heart of the lower valley of the Chubut River, one of the unique natural environments of Patagonia for birding and sightseeing. The tour starts going upstream to an area of the valley called "La Angostura", our returning point, from which we start going downstream, without using the engine in some parts, to appreciate the birdsong and enjoy the natural environment. ​CHANPA also offers sunrise and sunset tours for its most demanding passengers. He is on the committee of the Welsh Society in Trevelin and is actively involved in fundraising for the Welsh school in Trevelin (Ysgol y Cwm). He is featured extensively in Jon Gower's 2015 book, Gwalia Patagonia, and is often referred to as "Mr Patagonia".
