The Fort St. John North Peace Museum tells the story of the Fort St. John region from the dinosaurs to the oil and gas industries of today. Learn more about Indigenous people, the fur trade, homesteaders, and the development of Fort St. John and the North Peace region of British Columbia. Come explore a tepee, trapper's cabin, blacksmith's shop, 1921 school room, 1930s dentist office, missionary chapel, 1930 Outpost Hospital room, 1910 BC Police Barracks and Jail, Finch's General Store, and more! Try interactive activities like sorting mail in our post office. Our gift shop is a fabulous place to find books on the Peace Region, BC, Alberta, and the Yukon. We have a wide variety of souvenirs, clothing, stuffed animals, jewellery, and gifts. Our archives can help answer requests about the North Peace from photographs to genealogy. We're open Monday to Saturday year-round.

The Pomeroy Sport Centre is a beautiful ice facility and sport event centre unparalleled in British Columbia. The Pomeroy Sport Centre is equipped with two NHL size hockey rinks, and Olympic size speed skating oval, and a 340 metre long walking track.

The Pomeroy Sports Centre is a one of a kind venue that Fort St. John is lucky to have. The facility has 2 NHL sized hockey rinks, an Olympic sized 400m long track speed skating oval & a 360m walking track which is suspended from the roof giving a 360 degree view of the action below.

The staff is always very helpful, they offer good advice and recommendations on hikes, where to eat, activities on what's happening and much more. They have plenty of free pamphlets, maps, and brochures available to help you along your journey. Looking for a FSJ souvenir, they sell t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, water bottles, postcards, kids stuff gadgets, etc. They also have additional maps available for purchase such as the BRMB Backroad Mapbooks for Northern BC and a few others maps. Located inside the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
