Wallaby Woods Donadea

We have received many enquiries regarding reopening and regret to have to advise that we will not be reopening in 2020 and for as long as the C-19 social safe distancing requirements continue. As you are aware our facility is relatively expansive however it is impossible to implement the current social distancing recommendations in the intimacy of our playgrounds, petting/hot house, camp site and coffee shop. We wish you all safe passage through COVID-19 and hope to welcome you back at some point in 2021. Best Wishes Keep Safe Gráinne & Brendan

On Sunday 22 December, we visited Wallaby Woods with our two young sons aged 3 and 10 to see Santa. The kids loved it. Santa and Mrs. Claus were brilliant with the kids, and we sang Jingle Bells. They received a large selection box each. All the staff were dressed as elves and were a great help to Santa and his wife. Lots to do and see in Wallaby Woods. We will be back in the Summer for a picnic. Food and coffees were lovely. Staff very friendly and efficient. Kids loved the place.

Saint Brigid's Cathedral and Round Tower

Reviewed By LindaK631 - Auckland Central, New Zealand

It is such a gorgeous wee village and the first thing to do when you get there is to go to the Visitor’s Centre where you get a very warm welcome, lots of information and an excellent little video for 10 minutes that introduces you to the sights of the town, including Saint Brigid’s. The church itself is wonderfully historic with several additional features include the fire temple and the round tower. They’re all really worth seeing, particularly if you get the information first from the Visitors’ centre. We loved our stop here and wish we had more time to explore.

I went to Kildare village knowing what it was about, having visited in the past. It is an experience place to go to. I went with the idea of not buying anything, but with the value ended up purchasing a bit. Starbucks has a great variety of drinks especially over the xmas season. I was disappointed to see "Jack Wills" had departed, as was one of my favourite previous shops to visit. The staff, guides and covid officers are pleasant and helpful. There is a variety of shops and alternate ranges to pick from. Ralph Lauren, Superdry, Molton Brown, Joules, Calvin Klein & Nike to name but just a few. My advice for lunch: Just beyond the perimeter near tesco there is an Italian restaurant called YOLO (you only live once) and I would highly recommend when hungry.

Did the Porsche 911 experience as a birthday present and had a brilliant time ! Would highly recommend this as a gift as its a great experience, ive done many similiar types of experiences in the past but this is by far the best I have had ! Everything from the friendly staff to the suites for your briefing make it a unique and enjoyable experience. The driving instructor I had was Colm Blackburn and he is a credit to Mondello park, teaching how to do the corners in wet slippery conditions all the way to allowing you to floor a Porsche 911 down the straight ! Would 100% recommend, even in rainy conditions, great banter altogether !
