Cocktails. Lively guys serving. Seems a regulars pub. Olde Worlde inside. Small and cosy, what's not to like. How they fit live music in we have no idea ? Loved the music playing.

Luz has a beautiful sheltered beach with shallow clear waters. Not too crowded not too quiet. We were there in November and is was one of the few places in the area with a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed the beach!

The tour was a half day tour of the western Algarve we were picked up from our villa at 9.30am in a landrover in total their were 3 couples and driven up to Sangres and given a running commentary by Sandro our driver who was both interesting and informative. From Sangres we went to Cap St Vincent to see the light house and we stopped here for 20 minutes, then we went off road to a beach and then onto some spectacular cliffs where we had a walk around. Finally we stopped in the national park to have a 30 minute walk through the forest which was interesting. Then we were taken back to our villa in all the tour took around four hours and was great.

Beleza de Burgau

I decided to treat my two little daughters and myself to a manicure as a farewell gift to our holidays in Burgau, and it was more than worth it.
Carla is really charming and professional, did a great work with our nails and was lovely with the girls. We had a great time and managed to have a good chat, in spite of my two girls asking everything in Spanish and me translating.
Thanks again, Carla, we would love to go back to Burgau and to your place.

Very fast boat was enjoyable in itself.
Took about 20 mins to get to the dolphins then spent over an hour following them before a fast trip back taking in the coastal sights (and a quick visit to a smaller grotto).
All thoroughly enjoyed

Found myself on the usual family holiday, so hooked up with Toto Schulz to go cragging at Sagres. This was wonderful. Good quality rock and excellent supervision. Anyone who climbs knows that finding routes from the top of a sea cliff is difficult, particularly in the Algarve where some rock is quite loose so having Toto's local knowledge of what was available was invaluable.
