Decided on a day out at the designer village and the complex has carried out extensive covid changes and each shop having the appropriate precautions also in place. The complex provides great facilities and continues to improve everytime we visit. Great day out for couples and families, always easy to find a bargain on some high end designer gear. Always better when the sun is out.

Glebe Leisure caravan and Fishing Lakes

Touring Caravan site, grass and hard standing pitches mainly with electric and some with grey waste disposal and drinking water points. 4 Eco pods also available, non electric tenting area, 2 fishing lakes some with landing stages, a tree covered dog walk and 2 modern shower/toilet blocks. Car/caravan jet wash and coin operated laundry machines available.

Pitch sizes are generous to give plenty of social distancing space. Showers were powerful, hot and clean. There was a big party who kept themselves within their gazebos, it would have been better Organization to place them together, their music was off by the 11pm curfew. The dog walk is a good addition. My partner Jeff and I had a lovely weekend and really enjoyed a bank holiday camping trip.

Car Chase Heroes

We had an awesome day driving the Batmobile and a DB5 Aston Martin. We both had big grins on our face when we left the vehicles after our driving experience. My husband loved the fact he could play Bond, even if it was for a few minutes. His instructor Alan, filled him with all kinds of facts about the car, and assisting him to get the best out of the vehicle has he went around the track. I on the other hand felt like Batman with Robin a.k.a Neil next to me guiding me around the track. It was great fun. We felt very fortunate, as it turned out there wasn't that many people at the event, around 70+ . This gave us a great chance to chat to the staff, who were friendly efficient, and you felt safe around the cars, as well as in the cars. All instructors, were qualified Rally drivers, or had been driving instructors, thus they were calm when you were driving around and put your at ease. The Bicester Heritage is not a long track, so if you want a bit more of an experience chose your racing track carefully, as you couldn't drive a Cobra around this track. We will be going again, on a longer track and the thought of driving a Cobra, General Lee, or Knight-rider is quite exciting. However, there is also the possibility of driving Optimus Prime, as they also have the big American Trucks
